DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

The thing is, DCEU Peacemaker isn't really coming into the DCU anymore than Waller is. Events from the DCEU just happen to exist in the DCU timeline despite The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker S1 occurring in a different universe. There's no in-canon reason for it, it's just how it happened. So...

Earth-N52 is, or was supposed to be, the Pre-Crisis DCEU reality. (Seen in Crisis on Infinite Earths: Paragons Rising extra content)

    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

Two notes: 1. Hugo Strange appears heavily in Batman: Resurrection. He is referenced in Batman '89: Echoes posthumously. I love this because it feels like a hidden storyline that informs the overall storyline of this Batman iteration. 2. Okay, I'm going mad. I could SWEAR I saw the "Forget the...

Maybe it's DCEU canon, then. Makes sense to me.

DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

James Gunn's farts are probably more canon to him than an official tie-in comic. That's just how he is. I'm honestly thinking that whenever James Gunn has a canon opinion, we should all agree to ignore him. Otherwise, according to this guy, Marvel TV, Red Stamp tie-in comics, and I Am Groot are...

    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

Drake Winston is in the novel, so Batman: Resurrection is 10000% in the same timeline as the Batman '89 comics.

We'll never really know the implications because the new DCEU Batman never shows up again. I imagine he'll never show back up too.

    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

Well, the in-universe comic wouldn't use their actual names, the same way the Halloween H20 Universe's version of the Scream films probably doesn't show Halloween (1978) as an in-universe film.

    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

So we agree that Superman (1978-1987) and Batman (1989-1992) are the same universe, and that brings in Supergirl (1984) and Catwoman (2004). Following this, Human Target (2010-2011) is loosely connected to Donner's Superman. You could argue that, since Crisis on Infinite Earths is an in-universe...

    Slasherverse - Timeline

I mean... it's a horror movie about a killer clown, I don't know what you expect. This entire timeline is filled with things like that. Yeah, it's messed up, but it's also over-the-top silly too. It's not easy to take it seriously, and I think that's the point. It's like Fallout violence to me...

    Slasherverse - Timeline

I'm not adding it because it has no connection, I was just musing about the timeline of it exclusively on its own terms. Also, eh, I think they're decent films with a lot of practical effect genius behind it, and great acting by David Howard Thornton. Sienna is a pretty strong heroine too...

    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

Small timeline issues: -It is mentioned that Bruce didn't go out on consecutive nights during Batman (1989). -It is mentioned that Batman has had a short career, despite the fact that he has supposedly been active since 1979, seen in Superman '78 #3.

Hal Jordan actually had a cameo in Superman '78, by the way. Central City has been referenced quite a few times in Burton Batman tie-in material recently, but... who knows?

It is, in my mind, probably similar. Earth-89 might be Earth-89 to the Live-Action Multiverse, but it's Earth-789 to the Comics Multiverse (or perhaps, post-crisis it shares that designation in the Live-Action Multiverse but we can't possibly know).

I feel like certain realities just appear to exist in multiple multiverses at once, probably as some overlap. Similar to how, say, the Amalgam Universe exists in Marvel's Multiverse, but also multiple iterations of DC's Multiverse, and yet, we don't argue that there's three Amalgam Universes.
