Master of TOG-fu.
A bunch of little clones of Dr.Mann running around that her father created.
I wouldn't know. Trade waiting.the current one is better. i think.

Watchmen was first published 5 years before Vertigo was established as a seperate line, I believe. And it wasn't even a DC title, for that matter. All I can say is that in the future---when BKV ends this----it'll go down as one of the classics to read like Watchmen, Preacher, Sandman.
And oddly enough---all from Vertigo.
Hmmm....I could've sworn I saw a Vertigo label on the spine of the book. :? I'm probably mistaken. The book was with all the other Vertigo books so I might've seen something that wasn't really there due to association.
Oh wells.....
I recently picked up volume 1 of this series and I really liked it, so today I went and ordered vol 2&3 from the UC Store.
the one shot with supermodel chick was kinda cool...
it takes place right after Yoricks mom has been shot, the supermodel chick is sent in to retrieve the body. a couple weeks later her body is taken down to captial hill to lie in wait. all organized by the supermodel chick. near the end of the issue they also find Baby rats... (since rates only have a life span of about 36 months, and this is about 3-4 years later; mentioned earlier in the issue).
overall not a bad break from the issue.
So apparently this title ships bimonthly now (#55 shipped in March, issue #56 in May, #57 in July)...meaning this series will wrap up in January, 2008 if it stays at that pace. I'm sad the end is so near, but also hate not getting new Y every month.

BKV explained this and he's sorry, and I think he's making #60 double or even triple sized for the same cost.
Thats cool. The bimonthly switch isn't a big deal to me. Like I said, it sucks not to get a new Y issue every month, but at the same time it delays the ending of this great series a bit, and its shipped very regularly and on-time for the past 5 years, so I can't complain.
In other words, it hasn't had Ultimates-level delays, so no biggie.
I'm hyped about the extra sized last issue, though!
