Sorry, can't have links like that posted directly to the site. Keep it to PMs or instant messages, folks.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

You know I gave in and watch this last night. It wasn't as bad as everyone over at rottentomatoes.com is saying it is. It wasn't the great film everyone was expecting. But it wasn't horrid. Once they smooth out the unfinished scenes it should look a little better. You can't go into it thinking this story is all about Weapon X and all it's mutants. This movie truly is all about Wolverine. Pluse, I think this is the version before they went back and did the re-shoots. So I don't think it was the whole story.

This movie probably would had been better if the director had been given the go-ahead to make this movie rated R like he wanted. But still I have seen much worst than this. I'd say this movie was not as good as Spider-Man 1 & 2, X-Men 1 & 2 Iron Man, Incredible Hulk or even the latest Batman movies. But still better that most of the comic book movie that have came out in the last thirty years.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

When I heard it leaked I looked somewhere that should have had it and they didn't, so I'm thinking this was an April Fool's joke.

It is true. I've seen it with my own eyes, scouts honor.

Was it like what the one reviewer said about it? With
Deadpool ending up being the "Ultimate Weapon" and "Someone finally got you to shut up"
?

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

I find it funny that the digital watermark on the film lead the FBI to the person who leaked it. Secondly, the consensus is, this is not the version that'll be on screens May 1st. Apparently, it doesn't have any of the Ryan Reynolds reshoot footage, and no special effects. (I haven't watched it, so I'm not sure of the validity of said comments)

I agree with skotti it too early to really judge and the film is obviously not finished. I'm still going to see this when it comes out in May. What they did with this isn't bad (Although having Deadpool as the Ultimate weapon is). It's just not ready to be shown yet.

Even though we're a month away from the realease. There is still some stuff (other then tooling the special effects) that can be done to finish this film.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

I've just watched the leaked one and I believe I have a few things to say...
((If you haven't seen it already))

Wait until the movie is officially released because the screener is really missing some "crucial" parts about the movie in many scenes, like visual effects, sound effects even nicely re-done dialouges(there is something wrong with the audio quality, or maybe it's just my old computer)...

It's a nice movie, not the ultimate summer blockbuster "Dark Knight" has been (never had a chance unless they created a "Joker" out of "Sabretooth") but it's at least 10 times better than The Incredible Hulk (if you cut off the final scene where Stark gets into the bar)...

Since it's already out there... I am really sad about the way they wasted Deadpool... But I don't feel that bad because, X-Men movies aren't included in the marvel movieverse anyway...
And the introduction of Gambit... Oh god... I've been waiting for that from the very second I heard about the first X-Men movie...so many years :D

I disagree. I think The Incredible Hulk was a fairly underrated movie. I really don't know what else they could have done with the character, but then again I really don't know a lot about his comics.

If you're talking about the D, then they did have it but I think they took them all down.

I am having second thoughts on downloading this. My bandwidth space is limited and I don't know if I want to waste it all on a movie that sounds this bad. :?

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

well i can say that actually i quite liked it apart from the following things:

silver fox death scene
is this really a spoiler for anyone i wonder

the movie just sucked complete balls from the moment him and gambit flew the plane towards that island

and also, hated deadpool! wtf did they do that to deadpool?
but the moments with wade were brilliant. or maybe thats just because of my apparent (completely hetero) man crush on ryan reynolds

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

Oh and I'm still running into the problem of Ryan Reynolds being Weapon XI/Deadpool.

Since Fox's cast list has Scott Adkins as Weapon XI

This looks
Linked to prevent spoilage

more like this:

than this:

I thought Hulk was great. The second one, not the first. People didn't like that? I've never heard of it referred to as underrated.

No, I didn't even bother with them. My ratio there is so screwed up there I use them as a last resort for anything.
