Hmm, I didn't know this, but apparently Beak is currently known as Blackwing in the comics and he currently appears in New Warriors alongside Angel Salvadore, who is now known as Tempest. Barnell in the comics now wears a flightsuit (since he's depowered or something), which has energy blasts, and apparently this was the inspiration for Blackwing in the movie. Odd.

Yeah like the main story is Logan looking for his past and we get flash backs to his origins and everything get wrapped up in the present

Although it remains to be seen how the execution fares, I really do like that idea. Playing the past against the present... yes.

I'd like it a hell lot more than the Origins comic which was pretty much like seeing a Merchant Ivory period film. But with claws.

According to Superhero Hype young actor Kodi Smit-McPhee has been replaced in the role of a juvenile Logan due to scheduling conflicts. Instead, 13-year-old Perth resident Troye Mellet (no IMDB listing, apparently) will take on the part.

True, and plus the guy that played Sabretooth in X-men couldn't act. I doubt that he would have the chops (acting not mutton) to pull of a larger part in this movie.

Perhaps.

But that's grasping at straws, methinks. I remember when the pics for The New Goblin came about, people were saying how they thought that the costume would look different in the finished movie. It didn't.

They're not adding special effects for sabertooth, I'm betting these shots are for the military part where sabertooth has to keep his hair short.

I just meant adding any features to the character they can't use make-up for whatever look they want, etc.


And good point about the military, thing, too. Still, his face doesn't look like it's all "Sabretoothed", so yeah...
