Oliver Platt Signs On For X-Men: First Class

Just hours after it was announced that Jason Flemyng and Rose Byrne have joined X-Men: First Class comes word that Emmy-nominated actor Oliver Platt will appear in Matthew Vaughn's reboot of the Fox franchise. He'll play a non-mutant character called The Man in Black.

There's no one in the X-Verse they could have used to play the role this character is needed for? Hope they're hiding something.
