I think one of the perennial problems of the X-Men was that due to the ageless nature of Marvel continuity, we're never sure whether someone is supposed to be a n00b or not. I find it amazing that Jubilee and Shadowcat have gone from n00b to experienced to n00b at the convenience of whoever is writing them.

Your statement suggests the option of, under the fact that UXM has a very economically managed cast, introducing n00b characters constantly as each other character phases out of n00bdom. I'd really like to see Kitty grow up and STAY THERE for once as Jubilee or Magma or whoever comes in to replace her.

Also, since UXM pays more attention to the school aspect of the property more than the 616 did historically, you could always structure this around the freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior paradigm that Vaughan has made a point of emphasizing throughout his run.

I like the idea of a Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, Senior, cast...... but that is a lot of charectors.....

No, my thoughts was that since USM has gotten a some X-Men villains it would be cool to see some people that is in 616 Spider-Man to be in UXM and someone might even join the team. I have no idea who yet, I'm still working on that.

Yeah, Psylocke as an Ultimate X-Man seems like a good choise as of right now. She's already stuck in her assassin body, so there's no need for the trouble of introducing such a complex character.

I'm sure Millar mentioned we would be seeing more of her... Maybe she was supposed to show up with the Union in #4 but there wasn't enough room?

Did he? Ultimates 2 seems like the best place to see her anytime soon, unless she ends up showing back up in the pages of UXM, though I kind of doubt that anytime soon. Perhaps a story arc involving her with the mystery writer/artist taking over between Vaughan's and Singer's runs, but I don't expect Singer to use the character. Its possible, just not expected.
 
Both Bishop and Marrow (If that was even her) have not yet been touched. They could be taken in any direction, really, so it's up in the air.

And he was saying its his pet peeve when people mispell Beaubier.

I'm not sure how I feel about JP, that's why I want his character to be further developed.

And killing him off again this year would get a lot of fans angry... they've already killed him four times....

Ultimate Marvel could always introduce more gay characters, you know I've always thought Peter Parker would switch at any moment. . . .

There is nothing to this character yet, except that he's gay and not particularly interested in joining the X-men. I reserve my opinions for characters who've actually been given personalities.
