Captain Marvel Jr, dispite his name, is not the sone of Captain Marvel. Infact that'd be really creepy since they're both between 12-15.

Told you it was simple. I was justr counting on people thinking of the DCU only, at first. Once you realize it's a non-DCU character, it becomes really straightforward.

If I had been here in August, I'd of gotten that right when you posted it, but I just now saw it since you bumped it. Time for a new one.

There's no reason it shouldn't be the Hal Jordan incarnation of Green Lantern. He made his first appearance before Garrick, and qualifies as having "mental abilities", since it's his mind that shapes the objects created by the Power Ring.
