What's the worst thing to happen to/in comics?

But that's the worst thing you say about that story, at best it was good, but not great and at worst it was mediocre, most of Loeb's stuff before the death of his son wasn't offensively bad. Its kinda sad.

I don't know how you guys vote for Jeph Loeb as the worse thing to happen to comics. There has been bad writers since comics started and there always will. Editorial interference, retcons, outrageous price increases, character over-saturation, event fatigue. That is what is killing comics.

Of course there's been bad writers and will always be around, but that's not the point. It's more of what they've done that's been bad than them just being around. Though you are right about editorial interference and etc. being a major thing. Not sure about 'killing comics', but it's a definite good point.
