Weird Dreams

I wish I had more zombie dreams. In fact the only zombie dream I can recall is the one where the koalas acted out Shaun of the Dead.

Is there anyway I can manipulate my life to stimulate zombie dreams? Do I just watch a ****-load of zombie movies? I've got pretty much every notable zombie movie in existence.

Play Resident Evil 4 over and over and over and over. And read World War Z.

This is it! This means that Random must be the real Twibiki! I know what to do now!

*shoots Random*

I'm sure glad that's over.

Moony, you fool! Who will make cartoons of our wacky adventures now?

Eh, he finished the UC:FF.

Don't worry, she's just jealous.

To be safe, you must kill them both, cutting the female population of UC in half

I was gonna say this. well the first half anyway.

i think Twi is right. if you really wanna have dreams about something you should try to immerse yourself in that world. Example, i was studying the crap out of Japanese text (hiragana and Katakana) and that night i seriously had nightmares about the characters/symbols. . However, obsessing over something does not have the same effect. Id say im pretty obsessed with cute asian girls and i dont get so many dreams about them which is ****in bull****!

So I've got one for you.... last night I dreamt that I was at this party and my high school drama teacher was there. This makes perfect sense so far, as he's that really cool teacher that's friends with all the students and who everyone wants to party with. Anyway, somebody said "patience is a virtue", to which I said "not if they're terminal cancer patients! Ha! Am I right?" and put up my hand for a high five with my drama teacher. To which he looked down, seeming depressed. A girl said to me "Shh... he's got terminal scalp cancer". I said I was so sorry and didn't know, and then he said "Hey! No worries!", pulled over a grand piano out of nowhere, and the two of us engaged in this huge piano duet that became the life of the whole party.

What the hell did THAT come from?

I've decided that I want to master lucid dreaming.

I've only ever done it once, but I shall do it again!

Once I took control of the Dream, and then Lost control of it, and it ended like my recurring Nightmares have typically ended... Getting eaten by a Cyclops.

I wish I was joking.

Man is that Freudian.

Whenever I hit a Lucid dream I shift back out of it pretty quickly. Sort of a "Hey, I'm dreaming" moment which is quickly forgotten.

I've had a lot of recurring nightmares over the years...

One in particular happened after my parents took me to see E.T. when I was a bit too young to appreciate the movie as anything more as something horrific... As a four/five year old, it felt like I had fallen asleep, when all of a sudden I heard a humming noise coming from right behind me... I was on the top bunk of a bed, with nobody sleeping below me, the bed was right up against the wall and I felt the wall vibrating. I opened my eyes enough to see while still looking asleep, a spiraling orange and yellow vortex had opened, and a figure was in the center of it growing larger as it walked towards me. It was making E.T's typical inhuman grunts as it hobbled closer and closer, and I was petrified, shutting my eyes tight when it was close enough that I could have reached out and touched it. I felt it walk over me, and I stopped breathing so it wouldn't. I could FEEL it, and I had never before been all that conscious of pressure so real in a dream before, and I could . The dream was so vivid that it's still around in my sense memory. A certain amount of pressure to my chest and I remember the entire sequence.

I had a variation of this dream when I moved from Manhattan to Milwaukee. We had a temporary apartment and I had a bigger room, all to myself. It was the same thing all over again... The vortex appeared on a wall opposite my bed. E.T. came out and stared at me for what seemed like hours. Until I fell asleep into a more dreamless state, i suppose... It was following me, I was convinced, and I knew that he was watching me while I slept each night. It made it harder than ever to go to sleep... That might be where my insomnia originated, actually...

At least three years later I had what seemed like a nice, normal, dream. I was in the kitchen of our apartment with my mom and my friend, David. David and I were playing X-Men with my action figures and all of a sudden I remembered that I had gotten a Sentinel action figure (you know the one... 12-14 inches high, removeable chest plate that you could put an action figure in) the previous day (which, though I wanted to get one a lot, I didn't own, and I wouldn't until Christmas, almost six months later). I went up to my room to get it. Then, at the top of the stairs, E.T. stood at the end of the Hallway, staring at me. Directly into my eyes. For the first time in a dream it was a confrontation where I wasn't just pretending to be asleep, and I tried to scream but my voice had been muted by the alien. I ran down the stairs, trip, and fell... I remember laying on the ground, paralyzed with fear, unable to stop myself from crying as I could hear the beast moving closer and his breath growing heavier. I remember wanting to scream again, but I couldnt. It stood over me as mom and david remained blissfully unswares, and thats all I can remember.

The Cyclops Dream was significantly scarier, especially since it recurred almost once a week for over two years... This was when I was in my first few years of middle school... I was in a line, dressed in raggy clothes, with many people I didn't know. The line was patrolled in guards dressed like S.W.A.T. teams. They had Tasers. There were crunching noises and screams, then the line moved forward. As I got closer to the cyclops I would remember that there was a way to escape my gruesome death. i had to wake up. It was always the same method, I blinked twice and I would wake up covered in cold sweat. Sometimes I didn't remember in time, and the Cyclops would eat me, and THEN i'd wake up. Once I took control, and made myself capable of shooting blasts out of my hands. I blinded Cyclops, then started taking down all of the many men who were feeding us to the cyclops. Halfway theough a battle with the leader of the men, the man who was ordering our demise, when my powers vanished, the Cyclops lumbered for me, and tore my arms off before I woke up.

The only other nightmare that vivid i've ever had happened only once, thank god. A skeleton of a T-Rex was loose in my school, and it was eating my friends right in front of me, and you could see the blood running down the bones and the lumpy flesh of my friends hanging on its ribs... It was a LONG dream, but I can't remember where the Dinosaur came from, but I remember that when I woke up I couldn't move for a solid hour. This was when I was about 12.

Remind me to never get trapped inside of DSF's mind.

I don't want to meet creepy, stalker E.T.

And the first two dreams sound like sleep paralysis.

I've had a couple recurring dreams.

When I was about 8, for two nights in a row, I dreamt I was living with the McDonald's crew, sans Ronald, though. And I had a daughter. We partied and stuff. The first night was in a dark room, then the second time I dreamt it was in a kitchen, and I was on an ironing board.

The other recurring dream I had was me having to rescue April O'Neal from Bebop and Rocksteady. First time was in a gas station, then, some long long long long time later when I had this dream again was in some building.

I've decided that I want to master lucid dreaming.

I've only ever done it once, but I shall do it again!

The Sandman dream I had felt like this, though everytime I wanted to go somewhere, he ended up talking me to another place.

I love Llucid dreaming, I do it once a week, always by accident, never intentionaly. I tend to make the dreams extremely complex, and then I forget them upon waking.

I read the first few pages of a mystery book once, one about people coming to their 20th high school reunion, and all that cheesyiness, and then feel asleep well before the ending. I dreamed the rest of the book, me as an outsidee observer, and in the dream, I pulled a Columbo and solved the mystery before it was revealed. Upon waking I checked and found out I was right.

Stupid subconcious being infinitely smarter than me

Once, I dreamed that I slept in and I was really, really late. Then I woke up before my alarm clock. It was April Fool's Day.

Another time, I had to get up early and shower and get dressed for something, but when I woke up I'd fall back asleep and dream that I was eating breakfast and showering. This happened two or three times. It was horrible.

This doesn't really have anything to do with dreams, but this is probably the best thread for it...

So you know those super-powers I've been gradually manifesting, due to my well-adjusted, CW-show lifestyle and exposure to that mysterious territory a little while ago? I think they might be kicking in.

Yesterday I was watching a clip from the Chevy Chase show on YouTube, which I've NEVER seen before, and I knew exactly what was going to happen and what it was going to look like before it did, but not like Deja Vu, where I remember things as they happen, this felt like I'd watched the whole clip earlier that day or something, which I hadn't. I had only looked for the show in the first place because of a name-drop of it on Family Guy that made me wonder how bad it actually was.

Just now, this episode of Friends is on that I hate, and right at the scene I hate the most where I always turn it off or change the channel, I glared at the TV and it turned off by itself. Not the power or the circuit or anything, just the television set itself.

I also had a massive nosebleed this morning, which is uncommon for me, and last night, while reading George Carlin's Napalm and Silly Putty, I looked in the mirror for a second and, in my head, had an extremely vivid vision of a meteorite hitting a car in the middle of a crowded intersection. That was.... really strange. It was from a pedestrian point of view, and the car got blasted up into the air and whipped towards me, blocking out my view of everything else when it got close.

:shifty:

Keep you posted...

I had that dream again where I could fly.

I flew everwhere. I literally was sitting in front of my DVD collection trying to decide what I wanted to watch. I chose Alfie and then hovered over to the DVD player which is not even 10ft from where I was sitting. Like I was just too lazy to walk.

But the freedom was amazing.

I even used my fancy flying powers to pick up women. I was flirting with women and would just grab them and fly up and over town. Much like how Superman did with Lois atop the Daily Planet in "Superman Returns". It was so pimp. They loved it.

I really wish I could fly. I really do.

I think I'm gonna go cry now....

I had a dream a couple weeks ago that I was amrried to the girl I'm going out with this weekend. A happy little coincidence, or a chilling portent of things to come?
