Ah, sorry about that, it actually makes sense in retrospect considering they were both made by DC StudiosSuggested
Not a bad one either really. It's quite sound logically.

Comic UniverseBut didn't Before Watchmen also debunk that Rolf Müller wasn't Hooded Justice?
He DIED in Before Watchmen. His neck was snapped. But in what way is the backstory incompatible though?
Is it a 1:1 comic adaptation?Watched Chapter 2 of the animated one. It doesn't contradict with the TV show at all.
minus the black Hooded JusticeIs it a 1:1 comic adaptation?
those exist in the comic as wellWhat about stuff like the cars though? They are all retro futuristic and what not in 1985 but in 2019 they resemble what we have today
The technological luddism spawning from the new York disaster is a major plot point of the showI know that but regular 80s cars didn't exist in the Watchmen universe why wouldn't they carry on the car designs into 2019 unless it's a Fallout situation where they used real life cars in the show but in the games they are fictional
So I watched and I wouldn't personally use it as background for the TV show unless I can't be bothered reading the comicIs it a 1:1 comic adaptation?
What deviations are their? So I watched and I wouldn't personally use it as background for the TV show unless I can't be bothered reading the comic
They explicitly said the comic was canon to the show and there's more than enough deviations to disqualify it, especially part 2.
Is good tho, don't understand the hate I've seen for it on socials
