Also, just watched Dracula Untold. So I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that Vlad the Impaler was the OG Dracula that all others are named after?
I always assumed that they all just took on the Dracula name without any prior knowledge of each other

There's an episode of Casper the Friendly Ghost that features Count Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, the Wolf Man, the Gill-man, the Mummy and the Invisible Man.
