I get what Random is saying and it's a good point. How could the ramifications from this mean anything compared to any of the times he's had to yell at her for getting involved (i.e. when he was fighting Hobgoblin). It's not the same thing at all.

We are calling her that, because Bendis actually referred to her as that on his forum. He said "poor MJ, I mean poor demogoblin"you guys shouldn't be calling MJ-goblin the ultimate demogoblin, even the demogoblin was cooler than this garbage
Agreed. Though I was a little miffed by the lack of significant progress in the plot in 101, I still enjoyed the FF showing up. It was the last bit that completly ruined the issue, and made me put it down in disgust.#102 better be considerably better
....*cough*...deadpool...*cough*....On a random note, a new podcast came out, he mentionned he'd been getting screamed at about MJ. Somehow I doubt he'd pull something so unpopular twice.

I was reading an interview with Bendis and he was saying the reason why he did the clone saga was because it was such a big part of the 616 universe. Then the last thing he said was, " I love this job and I'll never stop. You'll have to pry it out of my cold dead hands."

As much as I hate to admit it, Marvel will never, ever take him off this book by force. It's been too big, for too long under his run.*Cocks gun*
I find that incredible stupid, the original clone saga almost destroyed comics, was kinda the last nail in the coffin. I really hope Marvel wises up soon and save USM from Bendis
No, I think she was serious. Didn't Kirkman say he was going to trim down the roster a bit? Nightcrawler is in the coma and Dazzler left, Kitty could be next. And the cover to #75 Kitty is the only current X-men left off.I think its more likely that the possibility of Kitty leaving is referencing the first time she quit (when she called Prof. X a Jerk) in 616...
I'd be surprised to see Kitty come to USP permanently

It's not a good thing either. This is Spider-man..not Spider-man AND Shadowcat. And I have no doubt that if she leaves UXM she'll end up in USM. Not saying it's good or bad before it develops, but mark my words if she leaves one book she'll become a regular in the other.
Yes, exactly. Though, in Bendis's most recent podcast, he mentions that Jessica Jones will be showing up shortly. Hopefully she can get some fans's attention off of Shadowcat.I can see her for an arc or two. But I dont want this Kitty to last, it takes away from the everyman we keep talking about. It was interesting but I'm ready to move away from it

I severely doubt that Kitty will die. And as for the book becoming Spider-man and Shadowcat. If she does come over I doubt she'll do any fighting. If she leaves the X-Men to get away from the craziness she'll probably just try and live a normal life, not become Spiderman's sidekick. I also doubt MJ will end up in SHIELD custody. I think Bendis will probably fix his own crap before this arc is up.It's not a good thing either. This is Spider-man..not Spider-man AND Shadowcat.
Of course this could just be a fake out,I think that's my biggest worry..That we are going to see deliberate character manipulation to make Kitty fit Peter as the long term love interest, owing to her popularity. ( Similar to what was done to 616 MJ a long time ago, and look how the writers are complaining about her now, and we've already seen it, in USM 87 Kitty could talk of nothing else but fighting, and now she doesn't like to fight bad guys? That's all her and Spidey have done together. )and she'll be the dead one at the end of the arc, though Cable looked at Rogue and Bobby and specifically said to one of them " I didn't think I could forget YOU" ( implying to me, that one of them is dead meat )
We've already seen MJ get most likely removed from the scene, ( she's probably end up in SHIELD custody at the end of it, and out of Peter's life ) And suddenly Kitty wants out of the X-men too. You can see it coming.
Jessica Jones eh? Interesting. No wait, the way Bendis is writing she'll probably become Ultimate Mysterio or something.Yes, exactly. Though, in Bendis's most recent podcast, he mentions that Jessica Jones will be showing up shortly. Hopefully she can get some fans's attention off of Shadowcat.
If she's not fighting then what do her and Peter have in common? powers? if she's not using them, then MJ will have her beat. And we'll never hear the end of the "OMG!! It's Shadowcat!!"I severely doubt that Kitty will die. And as for the book becoming Spider-man and Shadowcat. If she does come over I doubt she'll do any fighting.
