I get what Random is saying and it's a good point. How could the ramifications from this mean anything compared to any of the times he's had to yell at her for getting involved (i.e. when he was fighting Hobgoblin). It's not the same thing at all.

i have given bendis too many damn chances i know he can write a good book but now i am just disillusioned i'll still buy USM and NA in hopes that things will turn around but this is dreck plain and simple

I know this sounds silly, but I don't think Bendis would be torturing/teasing us about her transformation if he truly meant her permanent harm. This guy might like to tease his fans, but he's still usually a good guy.
On a random note, a new podcast came out, he mentionned he'd been getting screamed at about MJ. Somehow I doubt he'd pull something so unpopular twice.
Agreed. Though I was a little miffed by the lack of significant progress in the plot in 101, I still enjoyed the FF showing up. It was the last bit that completly ruined the issue, and made me put it down in disgust.

Kitty announced her intention to leave the X-men, and she apparently doesn't like fighting crazy people. I'd bet $20 she's suddenly going to show up at Midtown High, and try to keep Peter..while completly forgetting the results of Deadpool. And suddenly no-one will recognize her, and she can be with Peter as herself. Some people at the Bendis board has been suggesting move her over to USM permanently, and this idea seems to be becoming a reality. I think it's a craptastic idea.

No, I think she was serious. Didn't Kirkman say he was going to trim down the roster a bit? Nightcrawler is in the coma and Dazzler left, Kitty could be next. And the cover to #75 Kitty is the only current X-men left off.
And I have no doubt that if she leaves UXM she'll end up in USM. Not saying it's good or bad before it develops, but mark my words if she leaves one book she'll become a regular in the other.

Of course this could just be a fake out,
and she'll be the dead one at the end of the arc, though Cable looked at Rogue and Bobby and specifically said to one of them " I didn't think I could forget YOU" ( implying to me, that one of them is dead meat )
We've already seen MJ get most likely removed from the scene, ( she's probably end up in SHIELD custody at the end of it, and out of Peter's life ) And suddenly Kitty wants out of the X-men too. You can see it coming.

Yes, exactly. Though, in Bendis's most recent podcast, he mentions that Jessica Jones will be showing up shortly. Hopefully she can get some fans's attention off of Shadowcat.
The comics industry was killed before the clone saga happened. It was one of the extreme things done to try and escape that death.

I severely doubt that Kitty will die. And as for the book becoming Spider-man and Shadowcat. If she does come over I doubt she'll do any fighting. If she leaves the X-Men to get away from the craziness she'll probably just try and live a normal life, not become Spiderman's sidekick. I also doubt MJ will end up in SHIELD custody. I think Bendis will probably fix his own crap before this arc is up.
Jessica Jones eh? Interesting. No wait, the way Bendis is writing she'll probably become Ultimate Mysterio or something.

If she's not fighting then what do her and Peter have in common? powers? if she's not using them, then MJ will have her beat. And we'll never hear the end of the "OMG!! It's Shadowcat!!"
And the second she showed up at Midtown High, Peter's secret ID is toast. You can't be on the cover of People Magazine then show up and expect no-one is recognize you. Unless Prof X does some mass psychic mind wipe, which Peter has said "it's wrong" when she suggested using it to cover his absence. Half the people at Midtown High would figure it out instantly, especially after Kong in vol 3, not to mention Silver Sable.
lol..well if they want to explore non-famous super-powered girls, then they got the right girl. And I think Bendis only messes with girls he wants to remove as potential love interests, lol.
