Pretty sure the black dude standing next to Hawkeye is Falcon. Remember from Ultimate Nightmare? Glad to see he's sticking around.

The huge dude puzzles me... I hope it's Luke Cage.

Possible. But unless he got his power during Ultimatum, I doubt it. Power Man had already been itro. in The Ultimates Vol. 2.

I always felt they could just ignore that if needed. Or maybe use Luke's real name.

Ohhh, that's low...

I'm just saying you can revamp the character more faithfully, by simply thinking there's someone else named Luke Cage, or use the name Lucas (whatever his last name originally was). Besides it makes much more sense and can be believable than what Leob did with Valkyrie.

People, the big black guy is the African American Hulk. It's not Luke Cage.

I believe the other guy is War Machine, out of costume. I was thinking maybe it was Blade, but Millar mentioned a scene where he was in bed with three women and he hadn't taken his shades off, so I can't imagine him not wearing shades for this.

Pretty good issue overall. I thought the transforming armor was pretty sweet, but wasn't too big on The Spider (or whatever he's called) wearing Spidey's costume. Why would he? what's the point?

Are you sure? I thought Blulk was going to look more like the Hulk when hulked out, and like a old black man when not hulked out.

When Millar posted the thread with the image, he listed The Punisher, African American Hulk and War Machine.

Not what I meant, I think the big guy is Rage of New Warriors fame, look him up you'll see why. The guy on the other side by Hawkeye, looks alot like Ultimate Cage from the Defenders arc.

I read the issue.

This one seemed like the old Ultimates to me, though the secret identity of the Spider is a plot device I'm getting annoyed at.

I agree. #3 has been my favourite issue so far because we actually focused on these new characters - some of whom I think are genuinely interesting (Greg Stark and War Machine - he's got a Transformer!) - rather than Captain America/Red Skull, which is kind of boring.

I read your post and I understood your post. You just said that you don't know who Rage is and I just posted a link to show you who that was. You know to help you know who Rage is. I'm not say it is Rage, I'm just pointing out that it looks like Rage, ok...
