I don't know but I'm hoping it's at least just a CGI Cartoon. All it says over at Superherohype is that it's a new feature-length film.

Wasn't their a comic of the same name? maybe it's a small cgi version of that
 
Never mind , I got it confused. Looked to see the book in collection Transformers Beginnings. is g1 not movie. I was getting it confused with the prequel comic based on the film
 
I'd rather get the Target-exclusive transforming box. I might see if I can pick this up on eBay or something.

I'd like to see the Constructicons too, but I'm wondering if the names "Bonecrusher" and "Devastator" being used in the first film will interfere with them at all. If they do include all of the Constructicons, it would only be fair that they include all of the Dinobots in order to combat them.

Now I was thinking that if they include Grimlock, then they'd kinda have to include the other Dinobots. But if they add Dinobot, they wouldn't have to include the Dinobots... maybe even make Dinobot a T-Rex or something. He could be described as a former Decepticon turned Autobot.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but Dinobots vs. Constructicons needs to be the focus of an entire film. And I'm not even a Transformers fan.

I mean come on! Prehistoric animals vs. construction equipment! Think of the nature vs. technology analogies you can make!

well their both robots. As for the Dinobots they only need Grimlock, cause he's KING!
 
just so you know if they had more than one dinobot I would most likely create a fake power rangers movie trailer:lol: :oops:
 
I finally saw this today.

I didn't like it. Within ten minutes, the Houde-atary was flying

Now, before you go and rant about how I didn't see it in a theater, my friend who is into movies, has a home theater. A 60 inch flatscreen, HD DVD player, recliners in the room, the whole deal, the rich bastard. So I saw it in a good place.

Why I didn't like it.

Soundwave was ruined in this film. He was two feet tall, and had sex with a motherboard. Ridiculous. He plugged into the machine, and humped it for information. Not needed for this film. Then, he walks through a full parking lot, at a walking pace, and every person on high alert does not see him? Please. Then he goes and kills himself. Crap.

Known fact that I hate Bumblebee. In this movie, he was the goodbot, but I couldn't help cheering when they had the poignant scene of Bumblebee being sprayed down my fire extinguishers. For what seemed about ten minutes. And I hated how these robots were regenerating but his couldn't fix his voice box? Ugh. Nevermind the stupid scene of Bumblebee pissing on the guy.

Now the scene where all the robots introduce themselves. Jazz speaking ebonics, and combining it with flips, turns, and spins for the fun of it. Annoying. Then we have thirty minutes of the Transformers dancing around the house as Sam looks for the glasses. Did that scene need to be that long? Was that scene needed at all?

Now, a super secret organization run by the government shows up! CORNY!

What I did enjoy about this movie was the fight scenes. Very good fight scenes at the end, I enjoyed that. They showed that Optimus and Megatron where on two completely different levels than the rest of the Transforemers. Also, what happened to Barricade? I blinked, and he was gone.

Comedy is fine in a movie, but the comedy in this movie was out of place, and screwed with the timing of a film. An action movie should flow from one scene to the next, this simply stalled in the middle for two hours inbetween two great fight scenes.

My thoughts on the matter.

He's not Soundwave. He was going to be, but then the producers changed their mind.

Nonetheless, I agree with most of what you said.
