Timeline Hub

Guys, does anyone have or know of a complete timeline/reading order of the Secret Wars event to read? I've never read it and would like to.

If anyone wanted to start a 007 timeline thread, I can share my findings there. I just watched "Dr. No" this weekend and believe it's firmly set in late February of 1962 for two reasons.

First, we have this calendar (the best pic I could get online). It lines up with Feb of 1962.

And lastly we have Operation Mercury-Atlas 6 occurring during the third act. This rocket launched on 02/20/1962 (30 years before I was born, as I am 02/20/1992).

Now I didn't get a chance to count backwards the days, but I'd say the film takes place over the course of a few days, ending on Feb 20, 1962.

Crackpot Headcanon BS: Chiharu Tsubameya (My Deer Friend Nokotan) is a Multiversal variant of Ichigo/015 (DARLING in the FRANXX).

For additional context:

My Deer Friend Nokotan is a slice-of-life gag comedy

whereas DARLING in the FRANXX is a sci-fi mecha romantic drama

Not to mention both having different Japanese and English VAs (Chiharu being voiced by Chinatsu Akasaki [Japanese] and Abby Pasion [English], whereas Ichigo was voiced by Kana Ichinose [Japanese] and Brittany Lauda [English])

Still, thought I'd share this.

You know what, have another one for free, on the house:

Cousin Itt (The Addams Family)

and his Earth-346 variant Nagamasa Mora/Chewyee (My Hero Academia)

I'm not wrong, am I?

To Love-Ru appears to be canon to Marvel's Earth-346, I suppose.
Oh yeah, that reminds me, but since Deadpool mentions Saint Seiya techniques, wouldn't that also mean that Saint Seiya takes place within Earth-346?

Although, I'm not that familiar with Saint Seiya to know where it should be placed (if anyone wants to, I think this has a good list of media to look through https://saintseiya.fandom.com/wiki/Saint_Seiya_multiverse), but given what we know so far...

Earth-346(?)
1986 - Saint Seiya
1997 - Chainsaw Man (up to the end of Part 1[?])
200X - To Love Ru
2014 - Birth of the "Glowing Baby" (first Quirk user)
2XXX - Thanos destroys Deviluke
2167 - My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
2172 - Deadpool: Samurai
2172 - My Hero Academia

For obvious reasons, the absence of any Saints by the time Chainsaw Man happens likely could be a result of Pochita consuming the concept of them (since in Chainsaw Man lore, any concept that Pochita consumes is erased from existence). Given that Chainsaw Man is currently ongoing, for now, I'm off the belief that after Part 1 (the Public Safety Saga) concludes, two branches in the timeline occur:
  • One where the main events of Chainsaw Man Part 2 (the Academy Saga) occur
  • And another which continues Earth-346 as normal, with Denji/Chainsaw Man eventually becoming a full-fledged superhero by the time My Hero Academia takes place

When is Spider Man: Octopus Girl and the Shonen Jump crossover set?

The Manga, not the anime.
But... the anime is literally a straight adaptation of the manga. Same goes for Chainsaw Man and, I'd presume, To Love Ru. No clue on Saint Seiya though.

Hell, it's why I'm also including the David Productions anime adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in the thread I have for the franchise.

Also, I'm pretty sure Horikoshi also confirmed that the MHA movies are also canon, so yeah...

According to the Marvel Database, both Octopus Girl (the third issue at least) and the Shōnen Jump crossover are both set on Earth 346

Only in flashbacks for Octopus Girl, since it basically shows us how Sakura-Spider ended up in Earth-616(?).

And again, I have yet to read the SJ crossover, so I can't fully give my thoughts there.

It appears in that issue, it mostly takes place on Earth-616.
Yeah, first two or so pages are Earth-346, whereas the rest are 616.

Also of note:
Spider-Man_ Octopus-Girl - Vol.1 Ch.3 - Vs Sakura Spider - 2.jpg
Dunno if this means that from Sakura-Spider's perspective, it's been two years since the events of Deadpool Samurai or if she means it's been two years since the death of her father. Thoughts?

Also, slight nitpick, but when it comes to manga, please do not refer to them as "issues", like you would a comic book. The proper term for manga would be "chapters".
