the injecting reminds me of an issue of Twisted Toyfare Theater where Beaker from the muppets realizes they're all puppets and starts screaming about it in real words; then Sam the Eagle says "Sedate that 'tard" and they sedate him and he starts doing his *meep meep meep* thing. Implying of course that hes always sedated when we see him.
