So...Sunday's episode ("The Grove"). We just watched it last night.

Wow. It was really, really disturbing. It made my stomach hurt. it was probably the best individual episode of this entire series.

They did a great job of making Lizzie hopelessly disturbed and not flat out crazy. It was a great depiction of someone who just wasn't able to cope with the situation.

I'm glad there seem to be some things that aren't off-limits, because that is the strength of the comic and has kind of been lacking in the show, at least lately.
 
The Walking Dead returns the 12th. I've really enjoyed this series. Yes it's had it's up and downs but still over all an entertaining show. Even the music they pick for the episodes seem to fit. Awesome episode. They took it to a whole new level. I didn't think they could show
knocking someone's head in and slicing their throat (multiple times) without a cutaway on a basic cable show...
can't wait for next week's episode where they will address
what Carol did last season and about that girl that was with the Governor.

I also love the after credit preview,
where we see Morgan.
I would have done it differently. I would have
shown Morgan at the prison. Then the next week show him at that house that Rick and Carl was held up in. And then the following week show that scene. So it seems like Morgan was tracking Rick down.
 
It was OK. Kind of dumb how they got rid of Terminus so quickly.
 
Gareth's speeches (especially the last one to Bob) were almost enough to make me turn off the TV and quit watching this show.
 
I recently got caught up after stopping after the mid-season finale of season four. I wish I had just kept going because the last eight episodes of season four were hands down the best episodes the show has ever had. I watched the first one and was surprised how much I liked watching Carl go off on little adventures while they filled in Michonne's back story. Then the next night I ended up staying up until eight in the morning to finish the other seven episodes. I just couldn't stop watching. They were so damn good and FINALLY started adding serious depth to the worst character on the show, Daryl. I'm digging the current stuff too, but man was that back half incredible. Especially the one with Tyreese, Carol, and the kids. I haven't watched the last episode yet though. Heard it was answering where Beth has been. Super stoked to see that.

It does. Some of it was kind of hard to follow but it was OK.
 
Let's play another rousing game of: KILL! THE! BLACK GUY! Yeesh. At least it was a decent send off. Just wish this and AOS could stop killing off cool black guys for cooler black guys.

Has anyone done a timeline for The Walking Dead yet? In a DIrish (rest in peace, pal. I'm your biggest fan) fashion? Now with the main series, Fear the Walking Dead, I think there's like 6 web series. And then with the plan of more series, and like a whole movie trilogy? I think? Plus with this weird "confirmation" from TWD showrunners that Breaking Bad and Walking Dead DO in fact take place in the same universe. Idk about that one. But anyway, I think there's plenty of content to do a decent chronological timeline. If there isn't anything like this, I may take on the project myself when I get home from vacation. I'm just hoping for someone to point me in the right direction

Has the Walking Dead got an established year? I know it takes place over three years. I could probably craft a veiwing order but not an actual timeline for 13 seasons of TV (even more if Breaking Bad really is a prequel. That's a big IF)

Showrunner Dave Erickson of the Walking Dead had "confirmed" that they take place in the same universe at some point but I don't know how well that holds up.

I think Fear the Walking Dead placed the initial outbreak in 2010. Dates are hard to pin down since it's post apocalyptic, but I was thinking a "Day 1, Day 37, Day 1063, etc." would suffice.

But yeah, if there's nothing like it already, I think I want to try and tackle an actual detailed timeline.

Ayyy! That's something haha. I'm not gonna mess with Breaking Bad until there's some legitimate confirmation, though. But yeah, I'll get started on it. You should see a new thread in the next few weeks.

And be careful, if there's something I've learned about those wiki people from following the MCU timeline all these years, is that they get DEFENSIVE ahahaha
