The new Spider-Man cartoon to air on the CW.

I love the extended cast of this show, especially with all of the recent character development for Flash this season.
That's the stuff that sets this show apart from most.
Poor Hobie will never get a word in though.
Great running gag.
I'm going to go with Norman because of his speech.
It was a good speech.

Very Goblinish.
That's the only thing that pisses me off. I know he's supposed to be hapless but *******. All I can say is thank God Aunt May isn't in a life or death situation, and Peter gets offered a deal with the devil as the only way to save her.
It was far and away the most glaring flaw of an otherwise great episode.
Same here, I liked how they called Fancy Dan Ricochet. And Ox humming the Spider-Man theme song was priceless.
Priceless.
JJJ was gold. "Holy crap! I just said that to get out of there!"
He was great all episode. I hope we see more of his missus in the future.
I hope they don't kill him any time soon, but I can't shake the feeling.
He's totally doomed. It's rather unfortunate.

Wow. So Youtube already has episode 11, Subtext, up. Don't quite know how that happened, but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth.

Unless the gift isn't great. Spoilers lie ahead.

This episode has ups and down. It seems like Gwen is sticking with her new look, which I prefer. Harry's addiction monologue was one of the first times I've really enjoyed the character since he returned. Pete and Liz's relationship finally feels believable. Her outburst at the end when she thought he was there to take pictures was well done. MJ is single again and I'm glad she and Mark will stop eating up valuable screen time with their intense blandness.

The fight was one of the worst so far in the show and the animation looked off a few times during the episode. The main plot of Liz's brother being turned into a supervillain because of a gambling debt was silly. Mark owes what, like 5,000 bucks? He lets someone perform an illegal experiment on him to pay off 5 grand!? Ridiculous. Pawn your stuff, ask your folks for money, or turn tricks on the street corner if you have to. Just don't let someone inject you with Godknowswhat. And how many of Pete's schoolmates are going to be supervillains? At least no one at the Bugle has thrown on a mask. Yet. So far the show has made the intentionally powered members of his rogues gallery into hired goons. That's believable. Goons like Rhino and Sandman can be bought and controlled. An under aged gambler is a wild card. There'd be no way to guarantee his cooperation. Hell, you might be sicking a second super powered vigilante on yourself. I don't buy the Goblin's plan. This episode had some serious problems.

Two things, one Mark is clearly pretty stupid and two Gobby can turn off his powers whenever he wants, so Mark poses no threat to him. Gobby had him over a barrell, Gobby has something Mark wanted and had the ability to make him helpless whenever he wanted. Sandman and Rhino were Tombstone's employees, Mark was Gobby's slave and Gobby is clearly nuts, so Gobby's choice is kinda going to reflect that.

A third episode?!!! What the heck is going on? Not that I'm complaining. But really, what the heck is going on?

Except Spidey offered to help him. If Mark had been smart enough to accept help or hell, if he had just gone to the cops they most likely would have sent him to the same research facility that they sent the symbiote, John Jameson, and other scientific curiosities for research. If Mark went there through Spider-Man or the cops he probably would have recognized Curt's lab partner, don't you think? And he surely would have informed them that the Goblin is back, which Gobby seems intent on hiding. Suddenly, Goblin is placing his whole operation in jeopardy because he used an unwilling test subject instead of a hired goon.

Goblin's whole plan hinges on Mark being a complete idiot who is willing to sell out his morals for a quick fix. Not exactly evil genius material.

I was under the impression that Goblin's plans were the same as Heath Ledger's Joker...make it up as you go material. But yeah, this wasn't one of the best.

Also, I have changed my mind about the new Goblin's identity. It's Miles Warren. Hammerhead had one of his gene injection thingies in the flowers, and Warren, being a partner of Osborn's would have access to all his stuff. I could be wrong though. *shrug*

Hardly, Goblin is a little more calculating than that at best you can compare him to a crazy Luthor.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite incarnations of Spider-Man. It combines the best elements of like everything. The last few episodes have been great. I really hope this gets picked up for a third season when they finally decide to broadcast the second season in America.

I really like what they're doing with Flash. Even Bendis with his 100+ issues of Ultimate Spidey failed in making Flash more than one-dimensional. Here we get to see Flash going out of what he is used to be, as a member of the jock squad.

It's unbelievable how many supporting characters they fleshed out. I liked the expanded roles given to Captain Stacy and Frederick Foswell. I do agree that Peter was way too much of a jerk with the Valentine's thing with Liz, it's as if the writers really wanted to make it obvious to the viewers that Pete still has a thing with Gwen even though it's obvious enough.

This is the best Spidey cartoon ever made. It is not perfect, but it has done so many things that even the comics and the movies recently failed to succeed. I really hope Season 3 will be a definite as I personally think this series deserves at least 5 seasons. I like that they treated the supporting cast more like the Simpsons treat the Springfield residents were almost everybody would get the spotlight.

Episode 12 is out by the way. Looks like Episode 13 will be showing tomorrow as well.

Episode 12 is the "Prison Break" episode and it was pretty awesome with all the imprisoned villains finally having the opportunity to beat Spider-man who is supposed to be simply testing the capabilities of the Vault.

- Green Goblin's identity is extremely ambiguous. He recites the lines of Harry's part in their play. Norman is also gone and GG has access to the Vault's security programs
- Nice touch and using the Midtown play as a dichotomy to the events on the Vault. It is great that the writers find some way to still keep the supporting cast active even though the entire episode has Spidey never pulling off his mask
- Hobie finally talks!
- Black Cat's dad is the Burglar who kills Uncle Ben!
- Beck is not in prison and replaced himself with an android. Again.

About Mark Allan, I disagree with McCheese. I already have a friend who in high school was a regular churchgoer and a nice guy, but who got so into gambling in college that he ripped off his friends (including pawning off "borrowed" cars), destroyed his reputation and deceived his family just to pay back all the money he lost. Mark did not even go to that length and wanted to solve his problems by himself and not hurt his family or friends intentionally. People do really, really stupid things when in desperation and debt and Mark Allan exemplifies it.

You know I watch most of the first season, It's very good but felt boring because it was reliving many of the same plot we've all seen before. That and Spider-man 3 killed Spider-man for me (or at least left him in a vegetative state) So I really didn't feel like following until:
- Black Cat's dad is the Burglar who kills Uncle Ben!

Holy ****ing ****

- Black Cat's dad is the Burglar who kills Uncle Ben!

I actually had that idea for Ice's Spider-Man fanfic. Her dad was The Cat. Cool.

Episode 13's out. GG is finally revealed.

Norman is the Green Goblin. Not only that, he was the Green Goblin since Season 1! I'd let you guys watch to find out how this happened, it's pretty well-explained.

Way to be sensitive with spoilers Spolily McSpoistien

Sorry, I thought you can put spoilers here. Anyway, fixed it for the luckier ones.

Well it's just the episode just got online for most people to see, to kind of blatantly state a big reveal like that can be off putting. Safe rather than sorry when it comes to big things like that, at least at first
