Well, I have like 4 right now...

Of course I only ahve 1 book to pick up so far.

VVD - Jonah Hex - ?
Dr. Strangefate - Cassanova - ?
ZombiePanda - Goon Noir - Escapists
McCheese - All Star Superman - ?

Lemmie know before tomorrow guys, I'm going to get what I can at my LCS, then order the rest online.

Alright, took me a while to think of something I read that you don't. That's an impressive pull-list you got there. But I found one. Adjectiveless X-men. Probably should start with 188, the beginning of Carey's first arc.

Yeah Bax....you read too many good books out there for anyone to even recommend anything to you. Although if you haven't read Marvel's 1602....I suggest that.


I've actually never heard of Promethea.....I'll have to do some research on that.

Read Escapists and X-Men today. Escapists was a great read, and I love Vaughan's use of the 4th wall as a tool in it. I Don't think I'll be able to follow it in singles tho, a deffinate trade to order when it comes out.

X-Men seemed a bit of a mess. Carey is obviously laying the groundwork for alot of plotlines but none of them seemed to grab me. Add in the ever confusing art of Bachelo and I'll have to pass.

Anyone else pick up thier challenge books yet?

Y'know what? I kind of feel the same way about the Escapists. When it comes to some of the more eclectic stuff, and Vaughan's stories in particular, I tend to prefer the trade route. I picked up the first ish but really haven't followed it after that. It is totally awesome though.

Goon Noir was a hilarious read. I'm just not sure if I'll keep following it. It's funny, and I'll probably go back and read it again every once in a while, but it just didn't grab me enough to add to my pull list.
 
Havent gotten to a comic shop in a while (the curse of being in college)... So I haven't gotten Casanova yet.... Also: Midtown Comics is out of the first issue...

Concider it done. Does the TPB collect the full mini or do I need to buy those seperate?
 
there are only 3 issues out so far... maybe four... i dont think its been put in TPB.

Well, according to boom studios website theres a 3 issues mini, 3 issues of the ongoing, a one shot, the planetary brigade mini, and a TPB, but they're kinda vague on whats in the TPB.

Collecting the sold-out X-Tra Sized Special one-shot - which was such a success that it lead to a three issue miniseries - this book is packed with extras. In print for the first time will be the popular web comic promotion that Keith Giffen plotted and penciled, and which DeMatteis scripted along with Giffen's original character designs and Joe Abraham's concept sketches. Its $15, wich seems like alot for the one shot and a web-promo, but I don't know how long the web promo was. It seems right if it has the mini, but it doesn't say it has the mini. :cry:
