I know the feeling. I have a good female friend, who I have a very flirty friendship with. It has never been anything more than that as she has had a boyfriend for the last 4 1/2 years. She broke up with him a little while ago, and I have been so tempted to make some kind of move, but I have a sinking feeling that the friendship is where it ends with her. I am so very much not her type as she goes for the ripped sporty type guys and I'm.....not.

This Saturday I went out with a girl, and it was fun and she was pretty, and at the end she kissed me. I really think she likes me more than I like her now, which is a good feeling.
