I'd argue that although the net result of killing a pre-WWII Hitler would have been good, the actual act of killing is still wrong. But thats just because I tend to be a utilitarian.

I would also argue that hate is always bad, even when justified. Sometimes hate is less bad than the alternatives though.

Good, that's just the right amount. If you're not together long enough, no one cares that she cheated on you, and if you're together too long, you end up falling to peaces.

I recommend a healthy amount of strippers and shots. Take two of each and post me in the morning.

Yeesh. I have only this for advice, go get drunk with your friends as often as possible for the next week. Then talk to that one girl who developed an attraction to you after you went off the market(there is always one) and tell her your sob story, but don't sound pathetic. Nail her and you'll be right as rain.

Or just kill a hooker to re-assert your sexual dominance. Whatever floats your boat.

This thread makes me so sad and despressed, yet so happy and cheerful. I have no idea why some posts are funny, and I'm sure it's not deliberate. Maybe I'm just laughing at TOG's delivery mishaps because it's midnight, I don't know... but yeah, I love this thread, and I love all of you. If I've ever insulted you, or annoyed you, or attacked you for no reason at all, I'm sorry. I apologize.

I'm angry I have nothing more fulfilling to do at work than read this old thread.

On the other hand, when this place is rocking and people are posting a lot, I'm glad I have the time to join in.
 
My Pocket PC is having some issues with the touch screen, and it's probably time to replace. I'd like to replace my phone as well.

Cingular has the BlackJack for about $150 with a 2 year plan. That's a pretty good price for a $500 device.

But can I get it? No. I'm not eligible to upgrade my plan until January '08.

Screw you Cingular. How idiotic is it that they won't let me re-up right now, keeping me as a paying customer that much longer.
 
My phone keeps shutting off at random intervals, or simply turning on at all and I have to wait to June to re-up for a free one. Suckssssssssss. . .

They do it because they include a cancelation option in the contract, so if you want to cancel your contract, you pay $175, which doesn't change because your contract has been extended beyond two years.

Having a picture frame fall on your head after tripping into a wall is not a very good experience.

I have an apartment next door to my brother's and the mailman always puts the wrong mail in our boxes. I have no idea why, since our apartment numbers are on the mail.

It's pretty irresponsible to just pick a random Kalicki box and throw the mail in there. Either that or his screwing with us.
 
Sure enough, my relief is late again. It's been half an hour now, I anticipate at least the rest of the hour.

I wrote a letter to my company via their website complaining about how nothing's being done about this, how people are starting with the company and getting promoted after a few months despite their shoddy performance just because they know the boss, and how the boss sexually harrassed my girlfriend on multiple occasions when she worked here.

I don't know what'll come from it. Probably nothing. Probably I'll get fired.

I started writing memos about the way other employees should act and tasks they should do (make sure there's enough forms for everyone when you make copies, come in on time, I'm such a slave driver), despite not having any official capacity to do so. Screw it though, if the people in charge don't like it at least they'll have to act on something.
