Sony's Spider-Man Universe - Timeline

My biggest complaint about SSU films is that they heavily dub dialogue. Madame Web was atrocious at that lol, Kraven was better but pretty sure they used CG on the bottom lips in the last 15 minutes of the film, it looked ~off~ imo.

Finally watched Kraven the Milfhunter and I liked the action but there's ridiculously little of the plot
Maybe I'm just too Spider-Verse brained but I kinda wish that Kraven writing Knull into his kill list post credit scene was real at least

See, shit like this is why I'm praying for Sony to lose the rights to these characters. They clearly don't deserve the rights at all.

Sony lost the animated TV rights when Disney bought Marvel. Since then there's been Ultimate Spider-Man, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Marvel's Spider-Man (2017) and the upcoming Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
 
since kraven the hunter just released on digital recently i went back through it to find any other timeline clues in the newspaper articles and i found something unfortunate.

Towards the end of the film, when the foreigner is talking to Alexi, the latter is looking in a journal which shows a Venom: let there be Carnage Connection
as Eddie brock, Cletus Cassidy, Francis barber and the Ravenscroft institute are all mentioned as well as Cassidy being dead so that has to put as into or even past November 2020.

Is this a continuity error that just got left in filming reshoots?
Does this Overwrite the Daily Bugle Headline in Morbius about The Chameleon escaping Prison in Mid 2019?

We know Kraven has to take place around or after may 2017 due to Dmitry singing that harry styles song.
So we are looking at anywhere from 2017-2021.

I mean...sure. Chameleon has been active for some time regardless.
 
around 40 minutes in theres a scene of calypso reading a bunch of articles about kraven, i dont have access to an hd copy but maybe skim around there to search for a date if you havent searched thru it already
