Sony's Spider-Man Universe - Timeline

Like, I'm sorry if anyone's offended by me cheering the demise of the SSMU, but considering that Sony only really created those films to keep the rights to the characters so Marvel couldn't use them in the MCU, I'm not gonna lose any sleep over that franchise being dead in the waters.

If anything, this'll hopefully mean that Sony will likely return the character rights to Marvel?

I think they took three of Spider-Man's greatest villains, Venom, Carnage, and Kraven, and wasted the shit outta them.

Feel free to trash it. This was a worthless spurt from Sony.

Oh, you have no idea how much I'm going to clown on them. Hell, have a GIF of Goku doing the Griddy, and imagine him doing it on the SSMU's corpse.

Does anyone who has seen Kraven here know what year it's set in and are there really no post credits scenes?

Also thank god it's dead hopefully they can play nice with Marvel Studios for Spider-Man 4 and then Sony can have a piece of the pie, so that they can actually make this cesspool of a universe matter in the grander scale of the Multiverse

im not seeing the film myself until monday but ive heard there are 0 post credits

the audience laughed at - not with - the film. Fun seeing Kraven live action NGL but so unnecessary and pretty sure it had the clunkiest transitions and both overcomplicated underthought plot of any movie I have seen.

No credit scenes.

The winter scenes are because it is set in Russia during those scenes. It's definitely not a winter movie so I think the May works fine. Very little timeline references and nothing to other Sony Films other than a Daily Bugle Newspaper appearance. Approximate flashback ages should be easy to place although there are lots of cuts back and forth. And the final scene takes place exactly 1 year later, as they are celebrating his brothers birthday again.

I did not expect Sony to throw a live action comic-accurate Chameleon at us (Ik its accurate to the comics but it was very unnecessary to the plot lol)

I think their keeping Earth 688B alive so it can merge with the MCU
im positive this is what sony wants and fiege has been able to hold it off so far, even appeasing them with a venom appearance in nwh; im wondering if sony admitting that they can have a spider-man thats not tom now is them willing to be more independent since fiege doesnt seem to want the spumc anywhere near the mcu
