I honestly thought people were making a slight leap based on the available information. In any case, cinema lives!
rhino is also mentioned in a newspaper in morbiusDmitri Smerdyakov (Earth-688B)
1 mention(s) of Dmitri Smerdyakov (Earth-688B) 1 image(s) of Dmitri Smerdyakov (Earth-688B)marvel.fandom.com
Chameleon was mentioned in Morbius, so I guess Kraven is set before that.
haven't seen the movie yet (probably won't until it's on digital tbh) but this video basically explains the possible timeline of Kraven the hunter
sony isnt necessarily super strict about this, madame web which takes place june 2003 features toxic by britney spears which was released nov 2003It can't be no earlier than 2017 because of the Harry Styles song that is featured.
A few anachronisms doesn't necessarily excuse every other one.sony isnt necessarily super strict about this, madame web which takes place june 2003 features toxic by britney spears which was released nov 2003
So then if we include the one year time jump at the end of Kraven that would make it May 2017 (majority of the film) to May 2018 (Epilogue) that way we have a whole year to explain the chameleon mention in the daily bugle page from Morbius in June 2019A few anachronisms doesn't necessarily excuse every other one.
personally i like may 2018-2019 more as the rhino mention makes less sense to me the further after kraven it happens but i can definitely see the reasons for the 2017-2018 placement as wellSo then if we include the one year time jump at the end of Kraven that would make it May 2017 (majority of the film) to May 2018 (Epilogue) that way we have a whole year to explain the chameleon mention in the daily bugle page from Morbius in June 2019
So that would leave us with this viewing order for the Main Events of Each film:
June 2003 - Madame Web
May 2017 - Kraven the Hunter
April 2019 - Venom
June 2019 - Morbius
Oct-Nov 2020 - Venom: Let there be Carnage
Nov 2020 - (Spider-Man: No Way Home)
Nov 2020 - Venom: The Last Dance
March 2021 - (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse)
yeaa at this point i wouldnt count on this connecting to anything existing at all, similar to what they tried to do madame web last-minute but more planned from the beginning (hopefully; there seems to be no low at sony)Now wondering if Spider-Noir, that is set in 1933, is the same world as the one from the spider-verse films or is this like a Fantastic Four First Steps scenario where it connects as a bubble universe of the SSU but then would it be placed after the last dance in release order or before Madame web so many questions about this tbh
is it worth seeing in the cinema? I was thinking of grabbing a seat once it reaches cheap week in my areaKraven the Hunter was actually pretty decent?
It's up to you, I thought it was quite good.is it worth seeing in the cinema? I was thinking of grabbing a seat once it reaches cheap week in my area
I think I've managed to see all the other SSU films on the big screen, but Morbius and Madame Web made me question my priorities...
There was some silly cuts and definitely some points where you have to laugh at the movie, but if you go in with low expectations then it is totally fine. I enjoyed it much more than madame web.is it worth seeing in the cinema? I was thinking of grabbing a seat once it reaches cheap week in my area

Thinking that it's referring to a regular rhino from a zoo tbh, the more concrete piece of evidence is the headline on the daily bugle that mentions chameleon escaped prison which Martine is reading on the bus when she runs away from the cops and happens to reunite with Morbius.I suppose Morbius confirms that Rhino doesn't die then.
yea honestly i didnt think this was awful, especially compared to the total shitshows that have been venom 2, morbius and madame web; dont get me wrong, i still think that kraven is wholly unnecessary and shouldnt exist without spider-man but this might be worth $5 on discount night at the theaterThere was some silly cuts and definitely some points where you have to laugh at the movie, but if you go in with low expectations then it is totally fine. I did love the casting for Rhino and enjoyed his character.
