Pokemon

For some reason, I've started to become interested in Pokemon again. I haven't played in years, so the most recent game I have is Leaf Green. Also, I sold my DS, so all I have is a red SP. I'm thinking about selling my SP, PSP, PS2, and N64 (along with the games) so I can buy a DS along with Pokemon Platinum. I like the enhanced graphics in Platinum. They seem to be running out of ideas for Pokemon though.

Anyways, I re-started Leaf Green a few days ago and decided to only catch Pokemon that I like. So far I only have Venusaur, Gyarados, Evee, Snorlax, Kangaskhan, Hitmonchan, Onix, Sandshrew, Mankey, Meowth, Geodude, Zubat, Gastly, Cubone, Slowpoke, Nidorino, Rhyhorn, Abra, Pinsir, Exeggute, and Pidgey. I've always loved Kangaskhan and he (or is it she?) is the only reason I go to the Safari Zone. I also love Gyarados and Snorlax. Slowpoke, Abra, and Mankey are cool too. I want a Scyther.

Pokemon Report: What Does this Button Do?
All the gadgets that would make Pokemon training impossible for old people.

Each new entry into the Pokemon core series is marked by small changes and additions to the core gameplay. Among these are the advancements in technology that increase the usefulness of your gadgets.

Not everything gets improvements. You think the makers of TMs couldn't make them all infinitely usable like the HMs are? Of course they could, but then you'd stop buying TMs and they'd go out of business. It's a total racket!

So we're taking a look at the gizmos that help the player on the journey, like how the Pokedex went from a totally worthless piece of junk, to a piece of junk that lets you sort your Pokemon by fatness. Now that's an engineering breakthrough!

It's finally official. What we all knew was coming:

Pokemon HeartGold & Soul Silver: Gold & Silver remakes!

Coming to the DS this Fall 2009 for Japan to coincide with the original Gold/Silver 10th anniversary release. So it's probably safe to assume Spring 2010 for U.S.

New Wiiware game

More downloadable Pokemon is on the way to WiiWare. Nintendo announced today in Japan Ransen Pokemon Scramble, a slightly different take on the Pokemon franchise.

In Scramble, you take control of a windup Pokemon toy in overhead stages of play. As you defeat rival Pokemon and, eventually, bosses, you end up building up your roster of ally Pokemon.

I'm looking to download an emulator and a rom for Pokemon Gold. I don't know how to do this without junking up my computer. If someone could please give me some directions (or links) that would be very much appreciated. Is it possible to get these two things without WinRAR or Winzip?

Since I've heard it was going to be released I have been anticipating this probably more than any other game. My favorite game of all time is Gold version to be completely honest with ya'll. I have looked on serebii.net at the Japanese version of this game and I am so anxious to have it in my hands...

Ice, I feel stupid for selling my DS to you, but I'm going to get another so that we can both enjoy it/battle/trade with one another.

This will ruin Diglett for you forever:
