I don't think he's a legendary pokemon. Any legendary pokemon are automatically banned from being used at the Battle Tower. So if they let them through, they're not legendary. S&P has told me he's used him at the BT before.
 
Been working on this for a while just finished the covers ect..

Here is my idea on how they could do a fully 3d pokemon on Wii

Covers
These are actual size – also the only difference is the front :

Graphics
Thought I would get this out of the way. The way pokemon looks and walks around ect... I figured Animal Crossing graphics. Maybe polish the people off a bit so they don't look like Animal crossing like MySims.

The fights however look like that Battle Revolution coming out on the Wii. The idea been that it would look like the gameboy/ds games but have kick *** battles for people to enjoy

Gameplay

Use nunchuck to move around , A and B buttons do what they do on handheld version. Use the the WiiMote to throw pokeballs similar to pitching on Wii sports baseball. Also There are mini games for each task like Fishing.

These mini games are you doing the action to match the task , Eg fishing you have to cast with the Wiimote and reel in with the chuck.

Online
You can trade or compete in battles and tournaments online. As well as that certain areas allow other players to help you (like on the DS games)

Other features

Both versions have exclusive Pokemon that you can trade between consoles

Also connects to DS for trading between Wii and DS.


Edit : by the way I just found Emerald name has been used before but this way more about a basic idea of how it could work so I'm not editing it

Way before the game came out in Japan, he was rumored to be since he stared in in his own movie. When the game came out, it was revealed he was just a regular Pokemon and a lot of people were dumbfounded.

I got Gible and Tauros from the GTS! I traded a Farfeth'd & a Lickitung for them. Also got Dragonair from some Japanese person that I traded a Lv. 1 Torchic that I hatched (since I have Blaziken).

I was looking for Dratini at first and Growlithe, but it seems that since I haven't seem them in my Pokedex, they won't appear in the search list to trade for them. :(

Woo Hoo , I got Diamond today and borrowed my cousins DS till I get mine. I can't wait for the Wii game. I just read that if you complete Wii game you can download a surfing pikachu :D

When I get my ds in a couple of weeks I'll get my friend code upp to fight or trade with people on here.

I've seen 425 pokemon and am missing only Jirachi in terms of Legendaries.
I think I'm doing pretty good for myself.:D

What fun!

So, far I've only caught Starly and my new favorite, Bidoop... Having started out with Chimchar. I can tell that the DS is being used to its fullest of potentials with this game. I can't wait to get into it, with the gym battles and on-line stuff... Can I get you guys to trade some good ones with me? :-D, no matter what level, I want some oldies!

Also, what are the differences between Diamond and Pearl? Diamond was the only one available, so that's what I picked up...

What pokemon would you like? I don't need anything important in return, just know it will take me a few minutes to hatch whatever you need.

You may have anything from any generation that I currently own, excluding legendaries.
The difference is the same between D/P as it was between R/S- primary legendaries and available Pokemon. I prefer the Diamond legendary (Dragon/Steel? Hell yeah!), so I chose diamond.

I've got a great battle tower team- Gallade, Jolteon, and Kingdra (a must-use for ANYONE attempting the tower.)
Lost on the eighteenth battle. Damn you, LOST, for grabbing my attention!
 
My team right now before going into the second gym is: Monferno (24), Luxio (22), and Salavaria (20), with Bibarel (16) there in case he needs to bring up the rear. My team is seriously lacking right now... When will I be able to pick up some new good editions?
 
I've captured as many I can, but I am particular about which I raise. They've gotta be good and they've gotta have interesting evolutions. :-D I raised Bidoof to Bibarel just because I thought he was ****ing goofy. :lol:

Also, have you guys made a group I can join? I saw something about that in the first town...
