That's a bit silly.

Listen, VVD is my brother from another mother and I do wish that he'd postwhore like he used to, but the site is no more dependent on his ever present awesomeness than it is on anyone else. Besides, he said he'd post more often and I'll take him at his word.

I swear to Jebus, McCheese, if you disappear, I will have the F.B.I, C.I.A, Secret Service, Brock Samson....actually all I really need is Brock Samson to hunt you down and bring you back.


As for VVD, I am peeved (ZOMG SEE HOW I RELATZ TO THREAD!!!1) that he is like Kevin Smith. And by that I mean him saying something and not doing it for quite a while. He told me like 2 months ago he would be getting MSN and I'm still waiting for that to happen. And man, the many times he told me he'd hook up his wireless to get back. That took a while. Houde made asked if I called him like every day!

But seriously, the guy is busy right now with work and his baby that's coming soon.

Gotta disagree here. A lot of the fun of UC from the time I joined for a couple years onward were how VVD's antics - on-site and off - made it feel more like an actual gang of friends than just another message board.

Its true. While by no means is my sporadic hiatus the likes of which what happened while Bass was gone, I have been noticed the decline of UC.


But what do you expect when part of The Trinity (oh...I soooo gotta bring that back 8) ) isn't around.

And to my credit...I am. Unfortunately it's just been busy at work (not like I can get on UC there anyways) and it had been causing me to work extra hours. Mostly with holiday time vacation coming up, where I work its mostly all civilian contractors/employees so for the 2 weeks of Christmas and New Years it's like a ghost town there. So I've been humping it out at work to get stuff done before all the civvies disappeared.

Starting in January it will slow down and I can go back to normal hours.

Plus, the GF moved in with me on trial basis back in Sept/Oct....so since that worked out we needed to move to a bigger place, what with the baby coming and whatnot, so I got us a new place. The only downside to moving? Your 8 months pregnant gf can't really help with **** and since she's in the final trimester...she's always tired. So its been on me to do all the moving.

Well in my defense, I do have wireless now and have had it for over a month now. And I have been on almost everyday.

But........I realize that I have neglected a lot of people this past year because I've been too wrapped up in my own going ons. So in order to change all that, I made a couple New Year's Resolutions (although I hate doing those):



-- Take better care of me. Between the stress of the baby and all the stuff going on with my dad---I hadn't been taking care of myself. I packed on almost 20 pounds since I came to VA back in May. So I went out and bought some exercise equipment and plan on putting it to serious work. I want to be back into fighting shape by June.

-- Spend more time with friends when I can. Especially with those on the UC (or whatever E's calling this place tomorrow). That means more social posting, IM chats, phone calls, etc.

-- Start doing some quality reviews on comics here. No more "It was awesome." reviews for a single issue. I'm gonna really start doing some summaries, personal thoughts on the writing, art, pacing, etc.

-- REAAAAAAAAAAALY try and make it to HeroesCon 08 in NC this summer! You crumbs of dickcheese better be there if I go. I'm bringing lil Ashton Maddox (or Nick Fury as I like to call him)!!!!
