Do you know if it will come with the gun shaped thing the wiimote slides into?

This pic is pretty old, I think it's from E3 last year, so it might not be coming out. I'm hopeful though, if you look at either side of the wiimote it has slots that would hold it in place in this "zapper shell".

This thing would be real fun with first-person shooters too.

I just paid for my Wii. When shop get's in back stock I'm garanted a Wii.

So now that I know It's paid for next month I'll buy

  • Dragonball Z
  • Spider-man 3
  • Paper mario
  • and either Wii play or Wario ware or sonic (which would recommend?)

Whoa. I would never do that. It's one thing to put a small deposit down but to pay for the whole thing and not have a clue when it will come in? No way.

Watch - the store you bought it at won't get one for a year and a half, and you'll see them at 5 stores in the next week.

yeah but my city is sold out everywhere and it's first come first serve

I have jobs. I can't pop in everyday to see. This way is easier and they will hopefully get it by end of next month so i can play my spider-man 3 :lol:

but yes the important thing is i know i'll have one soon

Update on my Wii status :

I just got a phone call from shop I ordered. They said make sure someone is by the phone this week. The expect me to have my Wii in the next week and they said ant the most you'll be looking at 3 weeks but right now 1 week is the most likely :D

So excuse me while I dance for joy

Anyone have a clue why my controler might just turn itself off for no reason and without warning?

It did it a few times while I was playing Super Paper Mario and it wasn't a huge deal because the game stops and it gives a message that the signal to the controller was lost. I press a button and it comes back on.

But then I was playing Tennis and it just stopped with no warning, and there was no response with my Mii on the screen. I don't see anywhere that tells what kind of battery life is left on the remote, but is that what it is? I hate to think I have a bum remote.

On a side note, I just downloaded Punch-Out. AWESOME.

Never mind - I figured out what I was doing wrong. Since I can't bend my middle finger I can't hold the remote right, and I was accidently pressing the 1 & 2 buttons at the same time, which turns it off.

I just ran through punch out and surprised myself - I haven't played the game in years but I beat each of the minor and major circuit opponents in the first round save one - Great Tiger, who I took down in the 2nd.

I rule.

I'm stuck on Bald Bull 2, mainly because there's a delay in controls on HDTVs. And, since he's so fast, by the time the game recognizes my dodge, I get uppercutted. It's really annoying the hell out of me.

they are expecting stock in Wednesday so today I went out and bought the dbz game. more will be bought may 4th (getting accessories ect.. with spider-man 3 game when I've seen spidey 3 in cinema

Oh God, did Wii Play suck. I mean, sure, it technically only costs 10 bucks, but it was a piss poor game.

The other two, though, I agree with wholeheartedly.

Zelda - No , looks cool but i'm not a Zelda fan

Super paper mario and Wii play - Yes when i finish Spidey 3 and Wii sports and dbz.

I don't want too many at once so I can complete them enjoy them then I'll get the others. Super paper Mario - HELL YEAH. Wii play - most likely

Pool - cool , ping pong - very cool , Shooting - cool


there is one other game I want to buy as well though. I want to buy Wii points just for Mario Kart 64 the best mario kart
