Midway has mentioned that they have made a Heath build as a concept that they may try to make available as DLC, but they also said they don't think it will get approval from DC because DC wants this to be based off the comic interpretations of the characters and not the movie interpretations. Hence why Batman has the grey suit in this, DC wouldn't let them use an all-black movie style suit.

this is also probably true, not only would they have to get permission from DC to use the movie joker, they'd somehow have to work out a deal to use Heath's likeness, which I don't see happening.

plus doing fatalities on a Heath Joker just feels wrong, why don't they make a Bernie Mac Jax and throw him in the game, it's not really any different
 
Did he really have that much of a chance? You yourself said you didn't expect him in. We also got to hear about the story mode in that vid.

He is a popular character, in MK circle's, I never really understood why though, I mean the only thing he had going for was that he was one of the pallet swaps, I mean he's never really had much of a story, he was always just a minion. Well until he accidentally became the host of the Dragon King.

I like that in the story mode you start out with Raiden instead of Scorpion or Sub-Zero

Good stuff if a little bland, I don't like Raiden having a cape, especially with Supes and Bats around.

Man Midway really like that Vesty-thing/loincloth combo

I wish Baraka was Johnny Cage. That's really the only problem I have with the list.

Darkseid and Shao Khan were something of a surprise for me, but I guess they make sense as their respective side's boss characters.

And I really hope it's armored Luthor. I don't think I could take business suit Luthor seriously in a fight.

I like Lex's inclusion, it's a nice touch, wouldn't mind the armour, I think I'd prefer a suit though, I'm surprised that Khan and Seid are playable considering, that the boss is Dark Khan (it's in the 360 achievements) which I assume is Darkseid/Shao Khan fused together

Drop Baraka for Kung Lao, and Kano for Johnny Cage and I'd be ecstatic about this roster

well there is always DLC
