All I know is that as someone who is getting to go to NYCC this year I am VERY excited.
So are these all brand new monthly series or what?
Exactly. Going back to my long-standing gripe with Marvel's idiotic teasers: they aren't teasing anything. It's horrible marketing.
We'll find out during NYCC, hence the "All will be revealed" part.So are these all brand new monthly series or what?
Yup. Exactly what I've said before. It's not horrible marketing if it gets fans talking and discussing it like is happening here, wondering what it is, etc. Whether that translates into sales remains to be seen, but it's certainly working in terms of people wondering.

No it's not. Not at all.
They're clearly waiting to announce the books themselves close enough to release that people won't forget about them before they come out.
These teasers are intended to encourage speculation before that release, and if the other message boards are any indication, they're doing a good job of it. I think the combination of the one word with distinctive coloring and the names of the creative team is a clever way to encourage conversation without showing their hand just yet.
It's fine marketing, and a substantial portion of the fanbase is latching on to it. I honestly don't get your gripe, man. If you don't care, you can perfectly well ignore it.
I agree with your sentiment, but also disagree in a sense. It's not horrible marketing if it gets fans talking and discussing it like is happening here, wondering what it is, etc. Whether that translates into sales remains to be seen, but it's certainly working in terms of people wondering.
