Marvel vs Capcom 3

They announced costume DLC.

The first 6 are Thor(Classic costume), Iron Man( Iron Patriot) and Captain America( Captain Steve Rogers costume) for Marvel and Ryu(SF1 costume), Dante(Sparda) and Chris for Capcom.

He's like a bear, he doesn't know what to do when someone is in his face.

I will have the game by Saturday, though I doubt I will be any good at it. Haven't been good at a fighting game since Mortal Kombat 3, which, coincidentally, is also when I started to find it fun hanging around women.

Women have destroyed my video game brilliance.

I will gladly boost people's stats though.

So far for the new characters I like She-Hulk, Dante, Deadpool, and Thor. Though X-23 is pretty good too, Zero has been nerfed since Tatsunoko, and M.O.D.O.K. is goofy but fun. I also like how Deadpool moonwalks when he backs up.

I need to add you houde. And you need to accept my invites "gorilla raider!"

The game was really hard to get a grasp on. I'm still not digging the button configs and it really messed me up when I switched from cap to ryu. Since Ryu is kick heavy, I would start mashing X and O for my combo's only to realizing I was trying to launch my opponent in the air. So that was frustrating for the first 5 hours. Also, while playing online, you can't spectate even when your queuing for a fight. That is ridiculous since it's predecessor allowed you to spectate whether you were queued for a fight or just wanted to watch. Even Smash bros succeeds at this AND you can snap screen shots all in real time. At least from what I was told. I haven't played it in a while.

And then I read that DLC characters were going to cost $5 each. So $10 total for Jill and Shuma which is asinine. I was also under the impression that shadow mode would be included in the game, which it won't; it's going to be priced DLC. Something like shadow mode shouldn't cost a thing. Also, I believe the new costume packs will cost $5. I'd be more comfortable paying half as much for the costumes and characters. Do they not understand we're in a recession?! I kid, but it's a bit ridiculous to ask so much for so small. Maybe others wouldn't be phased by the cost, but for $5, I don't feel like I'm getting the bang with my buck.

Are you sure about the Jill/Shuma pricing? I read that they hadn't set one yet.

I didn't realize you did, I kept getting logged out of PSN last night, also I think my fight request thing is turned off while I'm playing arcade, so I'll change that. I'll be on this weekend though.

I don't know, you should just be able to check your messages and accept. like MW2. don't turn on online challenge during arcade, it's randomized and you won't even finish the first match. It got annoying for me real quick.

Here's the pricing: It's buuuull****

nah dude, check my link from above. unless i'm reading that wrong it states, and I quote from the link on MVC3's official FB page:

# Jill and Shuma-Gorath will still be available for purchase on March 15, 2011 for the people who did not buy the Special Edition. Each character will cost $5 or 400 Microsoft points.
# What's the point of the special edition then you ask? For the same $10 premium that you pay for Jill and Shuma Gorath, you'll also get a steel case, custom sleeve, 48-page artbook, and 1-month free of Marvel Digital Comics.

I bolded it in case you got confuzzled.
