Who's Spencer? That's one hell of a back massager.

EDIT: I bet Arthur will be good comic relief for the game. Maybe like Dan, Deadpool, Spider-man etc.

Also, where is my Strider and Hayato? And this game isn't officially cheap until Cable hits the scene.

I read this on Wikipedia and wondered if there was any merit to it;

Characters confirmed by Niitsuma to be absent from the game have so far included the monsters Tyrant and Nemesis of the Resident Evil series, citing concerns that their inclusion would change the game's content rating, as well as the primary members of Marvel's Fantastic Four, who were excluded at the company's suggestion for currently undisclosed reasons.[18] Seth Killian has stated that Amingo will not appear.[19] Other characters confirmed to be absent by Niitsuma include Daredevil, Emma Frost, Gene, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Phoenix Wright, and characters from Rival Schools and Power Stone.[20] Niitsuma has also stated that about a third of the potential roster will consist of characters who did not appear in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.[21] Writer Frank Tieri has confirmed that Marvel has allowed for full use of their library of characters for storyline purposes, and that several non-playable characters such as the Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, and Man-Thing will make appearances in the endings.[22] Niitsuma confirmed that Doctor Strange and Demitri Maximoff will not be in the game as playable characters, as well as implying the absence of Cyclops.[23] Seth Killian confirmed that Mega Man X will not appear as a playable character, and also pointed out that some of the characters shown as silhouettes may not be in the game

Alot of what this says kinda ticks me off b/c Mega Man X is my favorite mega man. Also with the admittance of Dormammu, I figured it would only be fitting for ghost Rider to make the cut. And I feel shot down that Daredevil, Punisher and possibly Nick Fury won't be making the cut. Poop, I say.

I love MODOK, Mags is eh for me, Spencer is Bionic Command which is cool, and Arthur will be comedic relief. He was major comedic relief in Namco X Capcom, which has the best opening ever.

Yeah, it's true, they were all deconfirmed by Seth and Nitsuma(The links are on the page Btw).

Mega Man classic probably will return, so X would be redundant(Though we will probably get Zero). Why did you think Dormammu being in gave Ghost Rider a chance anyway? They have no connection outside having flaming heads.

Punisher was rejected because he'd be too similar to Chris and it understandable why Daredevil isn't in(Not much you can do with billy clubs).

Anywho, in todays panel they confirmed alternate costumed(Spidey is getting symbiote suit, Iron Spidey and the new costume from the "Big time" story) and the games story will have Wesker and Doom assembling villains from Marvel and Capcom.

I will never be happy. As far as this game goes. The developers even stated, this game will be all fanservice.

@Venom: maybe I was mistaking Dormammu for Mephisto.


Anywho, I'm still hoping they reconsider Pun and others for the game as maybe DLC. With such a predicted/hinted, massive roster, I don't really see a problem with some characters being closely identical in movesets. Capcom is certainly no stranger to that method.

Except it won't be as large as last time, so you can understand why they want to have a more diverse moveset between the characters and why they don't want guys with similar moves. Punisher doesn't really bring anything to the table(Especially with Chris around). He's just a guy with guns and we already have that.

So... MODOK has officially peaked the franchise.

EDIT: I lie. What has peaked it is if you go to the official youtube channel, the video splits the promo picture in half, thus removing any context from Deadpool's appearance in said poster other than he is smelling someone's foot and giving it the thumbs up. :lol:
