There's something I'm struggling to understand
How is Karn still alive in this if he died years ago

I mean, Emma Frost was always gonna be a babe, and NetEase COOKED with her design.Sweet mother of pearl she's robust, those thighs are KILLING me. Someone tell her I do a great impression of a chair
Yea I was hoping for Blade but on the other hand I didn't want another DuelistVERY cool, cant wait to see how the story goes and how the new characters play like. But where is Blade, with the way the story is going, they should add blade give him a lore story about the eternal night and what he was doing and got caught etc, then they should move on and round off that storyline. either way that storyline is still sort of complete but if he gets added in season 3 and they bring it up then, then why not earlier. Anyway, this new season looks sick and I cant wait to see how the game and story changes going forward.
Also, Loki and Doom 2099 lurking together could be a hint at the future
Personally I think that if their descriptions change and add/remove the characters/lore then it could be good to place it as a part 2. (e.g. fastball special part 1 and with the thing fastball special part 2) or something like that, but tbh if it changes the description but only adds to it (no characters change then keep it is the new and improved one). I think for the namor added to gamma charge, they might change it to link with the new season, so would need a part 2, whereas the thing fastball special just adds to the pre-existing description without adding any events and just new dialogue, so could just be kept the same as the updated version. We will have to see what they add and delete from these descriptions. We've seen a glimpse at this with Fastball Special changing and getting a new description, which I let supplant the OG description since it directly added things instead of removing them, but how should we go about treating new descriptions?
There's a possibility that the new descriptions acknowledge people leaving (Psylocke, Bucky, Namor) but if it's not acknowledged and the descriptions are different should that have any bearing on the timeline? Something like the Dimensional Shortcut one's placement is based on the Psylocke aspect of it.
I'm currently thinking about including both versions of each team-up if it's acknowledged as changing/has a notably different story and if it's the same but without the other character then I'll treat it as still being the same entry.
With that being said I'm going to re-add the Pre-Thing Fastball Special and put it just before the new one
Fair enough, it does make sense but I feel like it will be harder to incorporate him in the lore when he is added later on, but then again they managed to have ultron and hellfire gala in the same season so we will seeYea I was hoping for Blade but on the other hand I didn't want another Duelist
Now that they're switching to monthly heroes and 2 month seasons I can see Blade being added in October as a Halloween character.Fair enough, it does make sense but I feel like it will be harder to incorporate him in the lore when he is added later on, but then again they managed to have ultron and hellfire gala in the same season so we will see
Now that would be epic, I personally think hulk would work better as a Frankenstein skin but those ideas are still greatOn top of that I'm positive that they'll have a Halloween event like they did for Christmas. I'm thinking skins like Thing-Frankenstein, Swamp Witch-Wanda, Grim Reaper-Hela, Banshee-Invisible Woman, and Werewolf-Cap
good idea. whenever they add him, I hope one of his lore pages covers the eternal night events or adds more to that storyline. Now that they're switching to monthly heroes and 2 month seasons I can see Blade being added in October as a Halloween character.
Too kind of themEmma Frostttttt nnggghhfggngghggg.........
Uh I mean hey nice of them to drop the new event amirite
Cant wait, and this time it looks like it vaguely links to the game's current eventsBros the Rivals Infinity Comic is dropping new issues with the start of the Season https://www.marvel.com/articles/com...unlimited-exclusive-thing-skin-infinity-comic
Fair enough, I think they must have been creating the story of the comic based off of the early game story (season 0) and gallery cards, so they had little to work with but more creative freedom. I tried earlier on in this thread to explain it (you can go have a look if you want and I would like to hear your opinion), but it was a rather unlikely solution. I hope they slowly add to the web of life and destiny storyline as a sort of side story, like how they mentioned peter go off to the web warriors during the eternal night storyline. So I hope they continue that so we have a better idea of that storyline (I doubt it but I hope the game links to the comic somehow by using small connections like the spidey to web warriors one).Since it's getting more I'm hoping that at some point there's a way to reconcile the discrepancies between the Infinity Comic and the Game's lore so that I can put it on the timeline.
I've mentioned it before but the biggest hurdle atm for the Comic is the Web-Warriors Gallery Card. Peter and Peni have met in the Gallery Card and are both on Spider-Zero's side opposing Master Weaver, but in the comic they meet for the first time and are on opposing sides.
There's the possibility of the versions featured in the comic being variants (Peni/Peter game interaction with Peni knowing Peter but Peter not knowing her) to explain not knowing each other despite the Card, but that falls apart when you consider that the Comic resolves the Web of Life and Destiny plot.
Which means it can't go before the Web-Warriors Gallery Card, and the only way to make sense of it coming after is if at some point Spider-Zero sent every Spider-Hero home without solving the issue, assembled a new team with a completely different Peni, and Master Weaver followed suit with another Peter.
The latter isn't impossible but at the same time it's the textbook definition of making things up since we lack the context, so I'm holding off on placing it right now.
There might be a chance that it does link to the game's story because unlike the first comics, the writers probably have a better understanding of the story and where it is going. Or they will just make another story, set on Krakoa, that confuses everything even more.I have no idea how the game will address the F4 confronting the Dooms in the first arc's ending, and I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that the comic's depiction of the Hellfire Gala won't fit with the game's lore surrounding it
