I lowkey entertain the idea of the Hulk vs Wolverine universe from D&W actually being 616/199999 but prior to the events of The Incredible Hulk. Main issue I see is Logan having Adamantium claws already but one of my friends posited the idea of Adamantium already existing as some government secret but and Tiamut's recycling the name for the public (kinna redundant but it works ig)
 
Sometimes when I get high I think this school is a ploy for Harrington to kill me. But then I get sober and I be like.... Man, I was trippin.

yea i mean if they end up retconning bullseye's surgery to be adamantium instead of cadmium there would have to have been at least some on earth pre-eternals

In that case the Blip must have either affected the election cycle for the election to be 2026 instead of 2024, or something happens to Ritson shortly after Secret Invasion in order to allow Ross to take over.

I figured that was going to be the case. There was no way the MCU jumped another couple years just to line up with the real-world election cycle. It'd be nice if the movie addresses how Ross is able to get elected, but I doubt it. We'll just have to assume it's either Blip related or something happened to Ritson. Honestly, I wish they just killed Ritson in Secret Invasion and we find out Ross was his VP and next in line. Would have made sense with BNW and would have been better than the whole "war on all alien species" bs that I'm sure will never get addressed again (like most of Secret Invasion).

Tbh I still think that CA: BNW is happening in Mar/April 2026 as Sam said he has been working with the military for 6 months since endgame and since Joaquin and Sam seem to have a rapport with each other in the first episode of TFATWS then I'm assuming that he must have met Joaquin very soon after endgame

Nov 2023 + 3 years = Nov 2026
Seems like a rough estimate as the weather looks like March/April but I guess Ross could win the election in Nov 2026 and then we skip ahead to March/April 2027

Could be wrong but it works for my placement so until the film comes out and we get more info or a background date in it I'm going to keep it there for now.

I feel like the implication is it's 3 years since TF&TWS since the movie would have originally released 3 years after it. Even if you want to say Sam started working with Joaquin in late 2023, Mar/April 2027 would still be about 3 years. I just see no reason why they would set this earlier in the timeline than "present day" (the latest thing on the timeline being Agatha in November 2026).

That would be an interesting twist! The idea of introducing Wolverine with Adamantium already in play could open up some intriguing story possibilities. It would be exciting to see how the MCU handles this.
