Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I have differing opinions about this comic.
1. This whole thing just feels like "We can use Spider-Man characters in an MCU setting without beefing with Sony!!! Yaaaaay!!" type of thing.
2. Since the MCU and comic TVAs are now one, does that mean... Variant Loki is the Multiverse's new protector now? Like, the ENTIRE Marvel Multiverse and not just the MCU branches? What about the Living Tribunal? Does he just not exist anymore or?

Cool that Marvel is integrating MCU stuff into their multiversal lore the same way the recent Spider-Society comics seem to be leading to (prequel-wise) the events of the Spider-Verse animated films.

There was a recent Samurai Deadpool manga that directly tied to the MCU post-Loki too.
The Miguel from the comics is from Earth-2099 and not an alternate 928, so that doesn't seem to be like it
Almost every major character in those films are variants really

Yea I've kinda had this in the back of my head since Deadpool Samurai since they use similar phrasing implying that Loki is the whole multiverse. I'm still of the belief that TVA is watching over things beyond Loki's Sacred Timeline since it's more consistent with coexisting with the comics as well as Deadpool and Wolverine and referring to Loki as the multiverse is purely in the sense that any aggregate of universe is a multiverse rather than referring to the cosmology as a whole

They probably mean the comic Spider-Society is a prequel in that it takes place before the movie's Spider-Society bc Earth-332 Jess Drew isn't pregnant in the comic while she is in the movie. I don't think they mean it's the same verison of the Spider-Society

The Living Tribunal has been dead since 2015's Secret War in the comics.
A vision and a pruned statue of him do not prove a remnant of him lives.

Yeah the Miguel in the comic version is probably gonna quit or die and get replaced by a new Miguel. Spid-DEI at its finest.

Pretty sure it's because she, y'know, gave birth after the events of the movies

also, how is she even in this? Isn't she Sony's property?

I believe 332 Jessica's timeline is

Edge of Spider-Verse #4
Spider-Society #1-4
Recruited to 928 Miguel's Spider-Society
Getting pregnant
Across/Beyond the Spider-Verse
Giving birth/narrating Edge of Spider-Verse #4

And never forget that said manga also ties the MCU to My Hero Academia (All-Might cameo), To Love Ru (Thanos mentions destroying Deviluke) and Saint Seiya (Deadpool mentioning the Saint Seiya Techniques). And then MHA has the MHA: Vigilantes spin-off/prequel and also (somewhat) connects to Chainsaw Man (Denji cameo, albeit only in the manga version)...

And that's not to mention all the Shounen Jump games like Jump Force, which in turn connects MHA to the likes of Dragon Ball (which in turn connects to Dr. Slump), Naruto (has a crossover comic with TMNT), One Piece, Bleach, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure etc...

Yeah it's being released as part of the MCU brand and I believe many are expecting it to be added as well.
Honestly, my interest in YFNSM is pretty much a nothing burger. Initially, we were told it would be an origin story for MCU Peter, but then it became a "What If Norman Osborne mentored Peter instead of Tony Stark?" type of affair. Not to mention, the suit still looks like ass in all honesty, the cel-shaded artstyle is pretty crap-looking, and the fact that Peter gets his Spider bite due to Doctor Strange and Venom fighting through a portal...

Yeah, I might sit this one out, all things considered.

What implies that Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man in 2015? Is it just the assumption that it's the same year main Peter got bitten bc of the What If-like nature of the series?

I'm probably missing something that confirms it but I'd honestly hold off bc the whole reason it shifted from a prequel to its own thing is to have more freedom from timeline baggage (I still think it should be added)

Yes, I placed it in 2015 when I was doing the timeline because that's when he got his powers in the MCU. And the school year starts in September, so I placed it around there since it was originally named "Freshman Year."
