Semi-related but I've already seen the usual reactions and lemme say What If has become my litmus test for people worth listening to I can't lie

People calling the scenarios uninteresting then clamoring for some s*** like What If Wolverine had a Vibranium skeleton or What If Thor snapped, will always be hilarious. If you don't rock with the scenarios please have something actually good in mind
 
The bird lady is Brydie (an original character) and she's played by Natasha Lyonne. I can't do a crazy deep dive of everything I noticed rn but some notable stuff:

• Agatha/Kingo team-up + absorbing Arishem???

• I can't tell who all is on the Mecha Avengers. Captain America, Photon, Moon Knight, Shang-Chi, Red Guardian, Banner(?), Rhodey(?), and who else

• Is that Superior Ironheart?

• Who is the woman with Wong, Okoye, and Valkyrie? Ying Nan? I wonder what their beef with White Vision is

• Mysterio hooked up somewhere

• Is that Apocalypse or White Vision after becoming Dark Vision or something?

• That seems like a followup to Nova Corp Nebula bc of Groot/Korg and Howard with Darcy

• Storm will apparently be in the last 2 episodes so I hope she actually gets an episode instead of just being brought in for the final episode

• I wonder what Zeus is doing there

• I licked the screen over Cowgirl Kate Bishop, I'm not lying nor tryna deny it

• I wonder who those guys with blue eyes surround Superior Ironheart are

If I had a nickel for everytime an actress voiced a original character in What If before having an unrelated live action role in the MCU a year later I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

Main cast list for What If S2 dropped and the lack of Hudson Thames suggests that there's no Spider-Man this season despite Mysterio. Beau DeMayo said Sony had to sign off on Spidey's combined sub-20 second cameos in X-Men 97 so if I had to hazard a guess maybe getting Spidey just wasn't worth the hassle after S1. (Especially when he's basically getting a What If series pretty much)

Some notable takeaways:
• James D'Arcy- Edwin Jarvis appearance??
• What could Walton Goggins (bad guy in Ant-Man and the Wasp) be doing here?
• Meng'er Zheng may be the mystery woman on the Wong Squad (or it's just for the Shang-Chi episode)
• Kumail is the only Eternal VA by the looks of it
• Seeing some Sakaar VAs so more support for a Nova Corp Nebula follow-up

• Some guests like America Fererra/Natasha Lyonne (we already knew)
• Allen Deng (Chinese singer), likely for the Musical episode
• Jason Isaacs (is he one of the Watchers?)
• DC Douglas (is HE one of the Watchers?)
• Darin De Paul (you can guess who I think he is)

Jk for the 2024 present day stuff my thought was Fall 2024 in the section between the September and October months after She-Hulk Episode 1. For the Void/TVA stuff just after Loki S02. For the viewing order I'm thinking about placing it before Agatha All Along based on Disney+. If anyone has another idea please let me know and I can adjust my plan.

Yup. Ali WAS in it originally, if I recall.

Yeah, time to redub Eternals. Hold onto those physical copies with the original actor voice in the post-credits scene too, those will be pricey!

I put it in March 2026 just after GotG Vol 3 which i put in the first week of March 2026 and before Agatha in November 2026 guessing that Brave New World and Thunderbolts will be in Late March or Early April 2026 and May 2026 so release order of the films makes sense for DP&W as the only other place is Late October 2026 as its after Quantumania and the marvels which have Easter eggs in the void and would put it a lot closer to Agatha but no evidence in the void that either BNW or Thunderbolts has occurred

Btw I know people will say that my placement is all wrong and to that I say I've had no problems or inconsistencies with the recent releases so far so I'm not changing it until a valid reason comes along

I put it in 2026 because it HAS to be after Quantumania due to the Loki S02 Epilogue about kang and B-15 has to have been in a leadership role in the TVA for awhile before DP&W so July 2025 to March 2026 is a good enough gap for her to progress in the tva hierarchy (Also there is a very small prop detail from the marvels in the void fox heroes hideout so that helps place DP&W after the marvels as well)
