Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

I still maintain the Avengers assumed he was snapped, but in the book it's mentioned he's off the grid and holed up in a motel.

That does realistically make sense in context of the Avengers not knowing.
But I dunno if that's ever gonna be confirmed.

Niche continuity details like this I would put on the same level as "Did Lorelei get left behind on Asgard when it blew up or was she rescued by Thor in Ragnarok?"

Stuff that's never going to brought up again and we can either live with the open-endedness or piece it together ourselves.

Should I remove it from the timeline?
I don't believe it's been confirmed non-canon like the Thanos: Titan Consumed novel was and while I don't think it is myself technically it still is so if there's still people that want it in I say leave it in.

Endgame's scene showing the screens with the vanished people ocurrs weeks after the events of the Snap, we could assume the Avengers hadn't located every survivor as of then. Maybe they located Selvig after the events of Endgame's opening scene and TCQ Vol. 2

Just finished the finale of Secret Invasion

Honestly kinda underwhelmed by:
A) no Agents of shield characters coming back
(seriously no quake or May,but then again just adds more fuel to the fire that after season 5 they are in another timeline sooo hmmm idk how I feel about that)

B) that end fight was just…. Wow.
A few good CGI shots and A LOT of bad ones and also really stupid decisions made, although that's nothing new for this show, like why power up the machine with "fury" still inside it with you,Gravik.

C) Ended way to quickly

Overall great character moments for Fury and I love Sonya, can't wait to see more of Olivia Coleman in the MCU but overall the show was good not great not perfect but good still prefer it over Falcon and winter soldier but that's just my taste

Ok so timeline

Same day that Fury was in Finland (9/10th Nov 2025) (yes with the amount of times they said specifically 30 years ago when referring to the events in the immediate aftermath of captain marvel (1995), including in this episode (Gravik says it to "fury") I'm firmly convinced it's 2025 not 2026 plus it also makes Quantumania 2025 as the leaks about the marvels post credits scenes indicate a reference to Cassie, and yes at the end of the episode there is a tease for the marvels which lines up with the plot leaks and the trailers so the marvels has to be After secret invasion in 2025 (so probably Late November/early December 2025)… anyway sorry for the rant got a bit sidetracked

So
9/10th Nov 2025 - Fury/Giah meets with Gravik til Humans are released from mind probes
A few days (guessing 3/4 days) later but same week as the attack on the president a day or 2 ago - Fury and Veera at home til Fury returns to Saber with wife

All the attacks on the skrulls/humans occur over the 3/4 day gap (flashback)

So we started Early November and ended just before Mid November 2025

Oh and to add more fuel to the fire
"The next full moon is in 5 days" - Jack from Werewolf by Night

So Werewolf by Night Occurs on Oct 31st 2025
Boom! (Full Moons in Europe btw not America because:
A) Europeans just like don't really celebrate Halloween, so it would be just another night for them
B) it fits with the concept/Theme of the special
(Spooky Halloween Special)
C) Elsa has a more British sounding accent rather than an American one, so her family would be European/British which would make the moon at her father's estate a full moon only in Europe not America (not sure if there is a difference tbh but I feel like there is)

si can be 2025 and quantumania can be 2026 even taking those rumors into account

moon phases are the same everywhere; Bloodstone Temple is in Arizona

at the start of the special in one of the Latin texts, Ulysses Bloodstone is said to have died on the last full moon of the year, meaning it has to be December, or he died in December 2024 and it took nearly a year to prepare the hunt

I'm just nitpicking here sorry, but Halloween is getting more and more popular here in Europe. My country is a more conservative leaning one and year-by-year more cities celebrate it across the country. Even my small town of a few thousand have a lot of little children trick or treating every year, even though it's not recognized officially.

I see the 30 years talk as a generalization like the many times they say Steve was frozen 70 years even though it was 67. The talk of Fury being gone for years makes more sense to me if it's 2026.

I agree with this, more things in the series point to it being more than just 2 years that Fury's been gone as been discussed before on here and when dealing with decades rounding down by a year isn't a stretch unless we honestly expect them to specify 31 years everytime they reference it.
