Got it.
I'm sorry for ruining your inside joke there...

Maybe the father is...
THE ISLAND
Patch is alive!
I don't like that last revelation, them being dead seems a little predictable.
Also, Patch. Wow. That got me more jazzed than the shocker at the end.
They're not dead... We know that the island is a reality through Juliet, who arrived on the island three years prior to the plane crashing.
Wow, though. What an episode.
There's a lot going on all at once...
Jin's the daddy. I was glad to hear that... But also sad that Sun may have to go in two months. Hopefully, we'll see a conclusion to the show before we get another two months on the island.
Sun shouldn't expect to stay on the island or be fine with the fact that Juliet still considers Sun an inhabitant of the island for that long...

Planet-Man said:I have two theories about the end: She was planted by the Others to screw with them, or my dad's theory... the Others planted fake wreckage so no one would come looking and find the Island by accident.
Goodwill said:I thought about the Others planting a plane for the outsid world to find, too. I don't think that the parachutist would have been planted by the Others, though - Ben most likely sent Mikhail to check the crash out. His mission was compromised, though, because Jin is the most badass person and kicked the ever-loving **** out of him. In the coming episodes, I'm sure we'll see much more of the Others... Anyone see that one promo shot they keep showing of a camp with loads of people? Their whole society will be exposed I bet.
It's clear that next week's episode will be the best of the season. I can already tell.
This was a decent episode. Since two months is almost an eternity on the Island, I don't think we'll see the story line with Sun resolved anytime soon.
I was hoping we'd learn more about how the parachute woman knows who Desmond is and why it is she was sent to the Island.
This is kind of bold speculation, but has anyone thought that Lost may do something really bold for the season finale like a 1-2 year jump? Since the entire show has only taken place over the course of about 90 days, that would be incredibly drastic but possibly genius too.

I like the idea of the tsunami being integrated into the story, but I also like the idea that the island is somehow displaced from reality, and can only be found if you know where to look.It could work, but I find this tactic often alienates the viewers. Its often too big or drastic a change for your average viewer to swallow.
At this point in the series, I don't think we'll see anything like that...maybe next season, or even the season after (which will probably be the last).
The producers have said that they want to incorporate the tsunami of 2004 into the plot of the show. Since the tsunami occurred just after Christmas of 2004, the islanders are only about a week away (their time, of course) from seeing some major tidal waves crashing onto their beach.
This could be in reserve for next season (condensing the next 4 episodes into less than a week island time seems more than likely), or its possible it might even be part of the cliffhanger finale for this season.
But who knows...maybe there will be a minor or even major jump in time (months or even years) afterward...
WHAT!?
WHAT!?
WHAT!?
I have nothing else to add.
I have something else to add: "Was" = singular. "Were" = plural. I mean, come on.
