Lost *spoilers*

Dude, I'm so sick of your fake "predictions"...which only become "predictions" after they happen. Why do we never hear your predictions before the episodes with the big revelations air? This has happened so many times in this thread itself, let alone others.

Thats it, from now on, Planet-Man shall henceforth be called UC's own resident "Ms. Cleo"!

;)

Well, I didn't really make any predictions.... more like wishful thinking, and I almost never come into this thread within 2 days of a new episode, 'cause of my fear of even teh slightest spoilerz(seriously, I don't even watch the "Next Week On Lost" previews).

But if you want a prediction... hmmmm... okay: Nikki and Paulo's episode will reveal an unexpected element about them that will instantly make them compelling and interesting to us!

Mark those words. Mark 'em.

Edit: Oh! Almost forgot...my sister has a brand new theory of her own with the new info we got in this week's episode. Remember when Hurley was in his stock broker's office and a guy fell by the window behind them? Could it have been Locke?!

Personally, I say no, because the timeframe doesn't workout, because Locke's incident was 4 years before the plane crash, but she insists Hurley could've won the lottery that long ago, since we've never really had verification about that. Could any of you guys help me out here?

Locke was in an apartment building. Hurley wasn't.

:?

I read that spoiler too.

Hmmmm...it could work out. I'm not sure how long its been since Hurley won the lottery...I'll have to look into that.

EDIT: You're sister could be onto something. There's no timeframe placed on Hurley winning the lotto, though John's paralysis took place in 2000, as you said. It is possible Hurley won the lotto at around the same time, and spent his time in the institution just before, or even in 1999. Of course, this would mean that Libby was in the institution before her husband died and she gave Desmond her boat, and not sure if that makes much sense, though I could be wrong there.

The episode where we meet Hurley's dad was supposed to have happened pretty shortly after he won the lottery. Definitely within a year, and at the end of that episode he left for Australia, so I don't think that fits.

As for Locke being pushed out of that window, am I the only one who thought that window shouldn't have broken when he got pushed into it? Apartment windows like that should be very thick and should have required a hell of a lot of force to crack much less break. I seemed like it might as well have been a car windshield for how easily it broke.

windshields aren't design to break, their design to splinter, its not easy to break through it like that, but the side windows do shatter. And I agree, but its in the name of drama and I can deal

The only thing I liked was that it showed that his father was decided to kill him in an instant without any hesitation.

I just rewatched Wednesday's episode online, and the most exciting moment for me was during the credits, when it said:

Executive Story Editor
Brian K. Vaughan

This was also probably one of my favorite episodes to date. I can not, can not, can not wait for the next episode.

My one question for you is (and I haven't been reading this thread so I don't know if you've posed it already): Who thinks that Cooper didn't actually come out of "the box" but has actually been on the island for some time. He is "The Man From Tallahassee", as they say. Maybe this ties into why Ben told Locke is Season 2 that he was coming to their side of the island for him.

Plus, now we KNOW Cooper is the original Sawyer, since Sawyer had ties to Tallahassee as well.

Finally, in the most recent LOST podcast, Damon and Carlton confirmed that the Him/He that all The Others talk about is indeed the mysterious
Jacob.

Next Week:
Arzt is back!! (In flashbacks, but still.) :)

Everyone on the island seems to be connected to everyone else in a web of odd, coincidental relationships. I think eventually we're going to discover that Kevin Bacon is the mastermind of the Others.

Gross. Locke's dad gave Sawyer an STD!

That isn't what I was implying...blech.

That'd be perfect!

How cool would it be if Jacob, "Him", was played by Kevin Spacey? He and Michael Emerson are creepy actors, huh?

I don't think it'd be cool at all. Kevin Spacey annoys me.

WORD!

In other news, I started watching the first season again last night(I've only watched it twice, once as it aired, and again on DVD right before S2 started) and during "Walkabout" I noticed something awesome: The adding machine Locke is using at his desk at the end of the first flashback makes the exact same sound as the Black Smoke.

Seriously. Check it out.
