Lost *spoilers*

Here is the best batch of spoilers I have found!

05/29 - Summary of spoilers given by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse: Next season, we will understand the real ramifications of Desmond activating the failsafe and what that did. The central issue of season three will be what did happen. It sounds like Desmond's coming back. They said they want him back, we want to know why he was in prison, we want to know what happened when he turned that key that affected the entire island. That will become very important. The island was visible but only for an instant. It was also visible for an instant on 9/22/04 when the plane crashed. The foot statue represents the history and archeology of the island. Season three will explore what happened on the island before Dharma arrived in the late 70's and who was there. The smoke monster will definitely be back in Season three. There is a good chance we saw the monster this year and didn't realize we were looking at it. By the end of next year we will realize what it was and when we saw it. Why did the Others take Jack, Kate and Sawyer? Where is their home? That will be the story told over the first six episodes. Season 3 will also be about the main characters and their relationships. They want to service the relationships next year more than the mythology. How Locke got in the wheelchair, how Jack got his tattoos will be revealed in Season three.

At LEAST Locke and Desmond will be back... Not to mention they are affirming a lot of cool stuff that I thought would be put on the back burner now that the island has been noticed by a couple of different people. NICE.

I agree, but all this "new leader" talk assumes Jack, Kate, and Sawyer will be spending a majority of Season 3 captured by the Others. I think they'll be getting away and back to the beach within the first seven or eight episodes.

So I was off by one or two... ;) Nothing for sure, but that does seem to indicate some change in dynamics if the story shifts from there.

Season 3 will also be about the main characters and their relationships. They want to service the relationships next year more than the mythology. How Locke got in the wheelchair, how Jack got his tattoos will be revealed in Season three.

Sweet. I guess that kind of confirms that Desmond, Eko, and Locke survived the magnet thing.

Indeed.

Hey, what do you know? All of this information came from the last podcast! :D

There's a LOST-devoted WIKIPEDIA site you should all look at:

LOSTPEDIA

Also, am I the only one who thinks Walt is Neo and the mystery of the island is a Wachowski brothers rip-off?

Also, my theory on why they wanted Hurley, Sawyer, Jack and Kate:

They're the only ones on the island that have saw things they should've have seen.

Hurley saw Dave, Jack saw his dad, and Kate and Sawyer saw the black horse.

And some more lost crap:

"On May 23rd 2006, it was announced that McFarlane Toys are to be making action figures of Lost characters, with the first series of figures to be released in November of 2006, coinciding with the the third season of the show.

The figures will be around 6 inches tall and have a recommended retail retail price of $15 to $20 US. They will each capture an episode-specific moment from the show, with a detailed base and photographic backdrop and will also come with a life-sized detailed reproduction of a prop that is central to the character's story, such as Kate's toy airplane, Charlie's Drive Shaft band ring and Hurley's lottery ticket."

Mostly all old news, except for the Wiki site. It's pretty cool.

And please don't triple post.

It is rumoured that the first episode will be called "Him". This will act as a cliff-hanger as the identity of the one referred to as him will be revealed. Presumably, as LOST goes, at the end of the episode. It is rumoured to be a character we have seen before. Whether in a flashback or real time is unknown.

WIKI site isn't new. I thought I had posted that link here a couple weeks ago. Of course not. I only put it on my blog.

lol.

HIM is Jack's Dad, people! BEtcha. Will sit back and wait 3 months or so for my revelation to be prasied.

Or not, lol.

A lot of people have speculated it might be Jack's dad, which would be interesting. He faked his death to get to the island? Maybe.

But it makes sense in a strange sort of way. Jack's dad could be the leader of The Others, and Jack is the leader of the plane survivors.

Posting those theories makes you terrible people. Terrible. Just terrible....

Should you be right, you are exonerated of your status as terrible people and it is then transferred to the writers for crimes against America.

I don't think it's him; I was just posting a theory if it was him.

I think it's going to be some big suprise - hopefully that no one has speculated on.

The producers stated once that the "Previously on LOST" guy isn't just some random person, but, rather, a voice that, once you know whose it is, it will become like a cool Easter Egg to you because it may be a character. I used to think it was Jack's dad, but then I watched the commentary for Season 1 episode 4 commentary, Walkabout, and they said that Jack's dad, who appeared by those trees when Jack was talking to Rose, was not played by John Terry there because they had not cast him at the time of the filming (Christian didn't appear in flashback's till the next episode). And since they used the "Previously on LOST" voice in episode 3, my theory went out the window.

Yeah, these were reported previously. In fact, I already saw pictures of the Charlie figure. If I remember right he's sitting down on some wreckage with his chin resting on his hand. Looked very detailed, great paint, etc. I'll definitly be picking these up.

There is more speculation that Desmond will return.

About Jack's father being "him" and how much the Others have control of the island...

Remember that we found out that Desmond took the plane down. On accident. I find it odd that no one has really brought that up... That's the whole reason why they are there, you know? This means that there is a big hole between how the Others know the people on the flight and what roles they play in the "real world".

OH am I loving that Episode Name spoiler.

I haven't been doing much digging on LOST lately, this has given me motivation to some, though.

Here's some stuff I found on Lost-Media.com:

DHARMA:

"Department of Heuristics And Research on Material Applications"

In a recent Lost Experience discovery find, the meaning of the Dharma acronym has been revealed. Even though the Lost Experience isn't directly tied to the show, an important piece of mythology such as this cannot be missed!

AND THIS, TOO:

"Now availible at www.pressexecute.com -- the final production draft of "Two For The Road" is now availible in PDF.

This script really clears some things up as in character motivations and what-not... and it also has some interesting extra scenes that never made it into the finished product. Be sure to read it!"

I'm thinking scripts are cool. Even for past episodes. Like the text above says, it gets into the character motivations.

Getting back to the subject of HIM - could it be Peter Coyote? He narrates the flashbacks. But he's on The 4400, so who knows.

He's not making them up. I verify his foiler from Losttv-forum.com - note I say FOILER and not SPOILER.

And the "Autor" typo is the same there, lol.

Further note all the titles of the Episodes are song titles.

The Road less traveled- George Strait

Somwhere Only we know- Keane

Scorched- Cari Lee & The Contenders

Was Blind, but now I see- Greater Vision

Buried Alive- Venom

The Way We Were- Barbra Streisand
