Loeb/McGuinness' The Hulk (Discussion/Spoilers).

Ya know, I liked this book when it first came out. Now it seems Loeb is gonna drag out this little "Scooby-Doo" mystery as long as he can. I swear I remember seeing an interview where he said #7 would reveal Rulk's identity, now I can find the interview...

Maybe it's Banner's sexual frustration in physical form... eww.

And don't get me wrong, I love Joe Fixit, but this seemed a pathetic and pointless resurrection of that personality.

Yep. I can't believe Rulk's identity is still unkown. The villain doesn't have the legs for a single 6-issue arc, let alone a year-long storyline.

I have only read 2 issues of this series, #1 and the one where Rulk beats up Thor (which is ridiculous after reading the new Thor series. Loeb should NEVER be allowed to use Thor. Ever.)

This book honestly reads like it is written for a slow 13 year old what with "A-Bomb" and all. Just awful.

Loeb turns everything he touches into total garbage.

I wouldn't say everything since he has made good stories.

I just realized that Red Hulk is Professor Hulk as a villain.

Also...it really irritates me that NOTHING has been brought up about Planet Hulk or World War Hulk, which I liked just because they gave the Hulk some much-needed characterization.

It was just ignored. That is one of the many things that irritates me.

No! Loeb is not allowed to touch Silver Surfer!

****

Anyone notice that Ed McGuinness' pencils are getting ****tier by the month?

So.

Apparently Skarr (you know, that Conan ripoff who's Hulk's illegitimate son) is coming to Earth for a crossover.

Let me know when Red Hulk beats the crap out of him.
