The Timeline Guy
I'm just curious about the cerebral tramp stamp tattoo on Mandarin's neck. What the heck does that imply? I'll admit it's kind of driving me crazy.
He rented out advertising space on the back of his neck to Marvel/Disney for Captain America 2.

Ok but is it true that Janet will be in it?
It hasn't been confirmed yet. Supposedly it was thought she'd be playing the Wasp, but it's recently been confirmed she'll appear as Ellen Brandt, an agent of AIM. Ellen Brandt is coincidentally the name of Ted Sallis' wife (Sallis later becomes the Man-Thing in the comics). Whether this means we might see Man-Thing introduced into the MCU at a future point remains unknown, but it does open up the possibility.
As for Wasp, I'd expect her to make an appearance either in Avengers 2 or more likely in Ant-Man. It'll happen eventually.
Ok thanks I was kinda mad when she wasn't in the avengers as much as I LOVED the movie they messed it up so much. I understand creative license but I just think they took it too far the wasp named the avengers without her the team would have fell apart. I do love the avengers but its far off from the comics.
Eh, I think her absence from the team (along with Ant-Man's) is just reflective of the fact they hadn't had a chance to be introduced to movie audiences in their own solo films first. Of course that's true of Black Widow and Hawkeye who were in it, but BW was in Iron Man 2 and Hawkeye had the cameo in Thor, so long time fans had something to look forward to and casual or unknowledgeable viewers had something else to pique their interest and draw them in. Bringing in Wasp (and likely Ant-Man since they'll likely be dating or married, unless they change that too) to Avengers 2 might be a disservice to both as opposed to a solo film first.
Ant-Man was always planned, even before Iron Man, and I'd think that film or Avengers 2 would be the best options for introducing Wasp. I think Ant-Man would be the preferable movie to introduce her in since it'll allow for more character development and screen time since she'd only have to share the screen with Ant-Man as opposed to all the Avengers we saw in the first plus some new additions.
It's different from the comics, yeah, but the differences don't make the new versions of the original stories any better or worse, just different and dependant on your opinion in terms of quality.
But yeah, I think we'll see Wasp eventually. At least she had a pretty prominent role on Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Yeah well the sooner she gets in the better. Worst comes to worst ill have to wait till November 6 2015 to see her in live action films. Add onto thy EMH is ending and a new series is coming which will cut out any characters not in the movie oh well
Well she was in the first draft of the avengers but then Scarlett Johansson said shed play black widow so they threw Janet away so well probably be serif her very soon. But if the rumors r true iron man would be the second best movie for her to debut in (antmans first of course
