Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

I'm going to come out and say it.

This has been the worst season of How I Met Your Mother so far. I reaaaaaally hope it gets MUCH better. It needs to... If this keeps up, I don't think I could care enough to watch a season five.

You're gay. We know. It's okay.

I'll say it's been the weakest, but not necessarily horrible. Sarah Chalke is one reason, I believe, that the show is down from its usual goodness. But like I said, it's the weakest, yes, but I'll keep watching because it's still entertaining enough to keep going with it.

Rumor:
I'm hearing Mr. Mosby will suffer a major heartbreak at the hands of [Stella.]

My comment:
Houde, SUPER AWESOME SECRET HIGH FIVE!

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Judging purely on the TiVo summary for next week's HIMYM, I theorize that Stella will reunite with an ex, possibly her kid's father. It kind of has to happen that way, since I don't think Ted could remain a sympathetic character after skipping out on the engagement, especially since he's already begun to act as a father figure to Stella's daughter.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

She is gone!
She is gone!
She is gone!

YAY!

Every time Ted kept screwing up and getting Stella mad, I was like, "Keep it coming!"

Next episodes is coming up in two weeks (November 3rd). Man, do I wish its Muffins girl again.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

I didn't hate Stella from the beginning, but I definitely did at the end.

But I was reeeally worried for a second there that it was going to be Ted/Robin again, and that would have just been bad writing, and extra stupid, because we already know she isn't going to marry him in the end.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

She's irked me from the beginning, mainly because I know she wasn't the one Ted ends up with.

I, also, was dreading Ted/Robin hook up once more.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Yeah, I had the same thought of no Ted/Robin. If Bays and Carter are smart, they will NOT make them into JD/Elliot.

Edit:

After a year and a half, I have FINALLY gotten the song by The 88 used in season 2's finale ("No One here"). The band released it on their new album available on iTunes.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

So yesterday's episode was funny. And that damn baby sock! It has like...powers or something!

I wonder how/when Robin lost her apartment. We got the answer as to how/when she moves in with Ted, but there never was any mentions of her losing the apartment or whatever...

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Didn't she move out when she wnet to Japan?

I imagine that she hasn't been able to get a new lease with no job and therefore no income.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Yeah, that's what I say. Hell, I forgot that the Marshall and Lily even moved out in the first place. I was confused at the beginning.

That makes sense, though they really should've mentioned it at least.

I remember Lily & Marshall moving since in the episode where Ted decided not to move to NJ he told everyone that they all had to do what they do -- which was Lilly & Marshall moving to the new apartment and Robin taking the job in Japan.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Some news from Yahoo!:

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt will be starring in an episode of "How I Met Your Mother," along with other reality regulars Kim Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson.

Le sigh... :?

Also, looks like Marshall & Lily might have a baby soon afterall:

No word on whether Alyson Hannigan's real-life pregnancy will be written into "How I Met Your Mother." The actress and her husband Alexis Denisof joked around on the red carpet at the 15th Annual Lint Roller Party on Thursday.

The Naked Man was hilarious. It was awesome. The best part I think might have been Ted & Barney going back and forth talking about the different positions to pull off 'The Naked Man'.

I did like Barney's line about it. "All these years I've been suiting up when I should have been suiting down!"

The episode was also the highest rated episode of the season (10.04 million viewers).

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

I found the episode to be a bit lackluster, but definitely not one of the worst of the season...
