Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Last night's episode was alright. One of the weaker ones, but ok.

Now, look at this pic of Robin about next week's episode ("Sandcastles in the Sky"):

And last, but awesome still:

Barney's Blog: The Chain Circle PYRAMID! of Screaming.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

I was cracking up when Marshall's coworker walked by with the Snickers.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

There was not a single thing about this episode that stood out. Except the "don't spill anything in my car" gag.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

I think Marshall and the fact that I got my brother hooked on this show is partially responsible for how okay my brother is seriously considering giving up his dream to be a rock and roll musician in order to work at a bank so his wife can eventually stop working and they can afford to have kids.

He has until the end of May to "make it."

Curse you MARSHALL!

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

The only thing that could [possibly] save the episode is that if Marshall's quitting the job actually helps Ted find the mother in some way. I dunno. Just a thought that came up right now.

The episode was character development, plain and simple.

Maybe Ted's future wife is a co-worker that Marshall meets at his new job.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Hehe. This one sounds like fun.

Season 3. Episode 18.

Title: Rebound Bro

Synopsis: Ted has "broken up" with Barney as a result of the fallout from "Sandcastles" and "The Goat," so Barney tries to move on by finding a new bro/Padawan to mold in his image.

Air-date: 5/5/08

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

I rewatched the Bachelor Party episode today, and when they went through the cliches of a bachelor party, and mentioned there is always a guy who disappears, I laughed, cause almost everytime, that's me.

I always, somehow, disappear. One time I disappeared within a group of Chinamen in Foxwoods.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

So Britney Spears is going to make recurring appearances on the show? Blech.
No.

She's only been on once. Some people would like her to come back later on, so it's a possibility, but she's not going to be an actual recurring "actress".

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

All I see is the same thing I said. She'll be back, but not a recurring person over and over. It's just another one-episode deal.

Funny, because that's not what you said. But anyway, was the response really that good? They act like people were tuning in last time because she's a great comedic actress or something.

OMFG! I didn't think they would actually do it, but you know, if it worked out, that pairing makes so much sense.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Me and Sexynurse were talking about how Robin and Barney seemed like a couple.

It's probably a one night stand. Well, knowing Barney, it is a one night stand.

Really? Because I said she wasn't going to be an recurring actress, and since she only has a ONE episode deal, that doesn't say anything about coming back more than once.

And the episode she was in was the highest rated episode ever in the series with 10.4 million.
