One question. Since Hawkeye got brought back in House of M and in result, will be back when the universe goes back to normal, wouldnt that mean Gwen would come back when the universe goes normal as well? I hope not

SHE-HULK #2

Written by Dan Slott, penciled by Juan Bobillo, cover by Greg Horn.

"Cause & Effect." Sure, She-Hulk would risk her life to bring Hawkeye back to life... but will she risk getting disbarred? Some stories are SO big, they crack the internet in half. This one? It's gonna seal it back up‹and kiss it to make it better. Be there when She-Hulk and Hawkeye team up for a strange legal adventure... and somehow wind up fighting a giant robot.

I'm sure everyone can agree with the pacing problem. It's been slow as heck because there is no story there. Wolverine was sent to an alternate reality and in order to get back he has to kill Magneto...that's the story. Ah well, it's still good to read. I have two problems though. The first is how they gathered their team. They somehow took the time to travel around the country gathering tons of people from frankly out of nowhere. Mainly I'm talking about Kitty Pryde. How was anyone supposed to know or find out that she was in Ohio? Beyond that, I know she's cute, but did they really think she was so important to have, as opposed to a bunch of other people (like Hulk, Storm, any number of others), that they took the time to track her down and then travel to Ohio to get her? Again, if they can find people who are so completely off the beaten path and then travel there to get them back...why not get bigger guns?

My next issue is with Cyclops' speech there in the latest issue...about how no one is allowed to hold back anymore based on their own feelings of justice. That just screamed Bendis' arrogance to me. None of those characters, well most of them, would not sit around and let Cyclops of all people tell them that they now must kill in order to succeed. I know that Spider-Man had to take a moment, but honestly, he wouldn't kill in order to make things right. There's always a better answer.

Also, how is it Cyclops' decision to kill the people who are going to defend Magneto? People who had nothing to do with what Magneto did, but in the new reality they ended up serving him or being his friend. I mean, Storm would probably defend Magneto, or Phantazia like they mentioned, or Polaris, but these people are completely innocent. Their only crime is not being on the list of people Wolverine and Layla decided to track down to 'cure'.

Alternate reality? You DO know this is STILL 616, right?

House of M: Xavier Theory (Spoilers Inside)

Hi! I've had a pretty crazy idea/theory as to some of the secrets behind the House of M. So I thought I'd propose them to a discerning public and see what other people think of my idea. So here it is:

What if Layla Miller is Charles Xavier?? She's come out of nowhere with the plot perfect power of being able to make people remember the old reality. Charles Xavier is nowhere to be found and we've been given no clues as to where he could be. There will be a big surprise, or a bunch of them, at the end. Obviously one of the surprises will be the location of Xavier. Yet at this point, he could literally be anywhere in the entire multi-verse...so it won't be an amazing surprise if he's just revealed to be like in Magneto's closet. He has to be somewhere important, somewhere that will shock us.

So I suggest that perhaps he was transformed into a little girl who Magneto hid in the middle of New York! Only he retrained parts of his powerful mind and that is how he is able to make people remember the old reality. Since his mind was used to shape this new one, he can remember the old and make others remember as well! That is why Layla Miller is a character and that is why she'll be an important character for the next few years.

I know. That was a joke poking innocent fun at the various declarations that this was NOT just an alternate reality story when it really kind of is.

Oh, ok. It didn't read like to me.

But thanks for the insight on the issue. I havent gotten it, and you're right. No matter what, it's not in Cyclops to be let loose like that.

This has been suggested before. In fact I reposted in agreement with this yesterday I think.

I kind of agree about certain heroes not letting loose ust because Cyclops (of all people) say so. But it really hasn't progressed past that - let's see if anyone actually follows through with it.

My bad, I searched for some kind of House of M discussion thread but couldn't find one. I withdraw my whatnot.

How come She Hulk is she hulk???
Do u think she became she hulk in the house of m "universe".
I know theres the hulk...... but no explantion if she went through the same procedure in the 616

Like according the the latest marvel previews, the house of m, universe is here to stay??????? with all the decimation stuff..... so does that mean fantastic four are dead, or does a blanket come off and reaveal the fantastic four are here?

You said what I was gonna say, but I'm gonna say it anyways. Yeah, really, who's to say they're actually gonna go and kill? But then again, you gotta realize the emotional effects having lived a "better" reality just to find out it's fake will take it's toll on these people and cause them to act uncharacteristically.

The Spidey we know is who he is because of the life he lived. The Spidey we see in House of M is, obviously, a different Spidey. Mixing both of these two separate minds into one is going to alter the way Spidey acts, at least based off the Spidey we're used to.

There should also be other quotes from other messages, but I skipped all that. Hopefully this was straight enough?

No that's it... just Wow....

And the fact that Hawkeye kicked *** and Wanda/Pietro/Magneto was probably one of the most emotional things I have ever seen in a comic.

No More Mutants...

Wow....

5/5

Ah, damn! And Iceman was a Horseman of Apocalypse!

I think a lot of this was flawed concerning. "Everyone got what they wanted" I mean Doom got more than any hero, The FF were killed, and Iceman's a horseman?

Good series but that's one of my little quips about it.
Yeah. It was in the Secrets of House of M. His parents gave him up to "protect" him, and he was sent to a mutant camp. Then, when the battle happened, Apocalypse found him, and took him in. He helps (or helped) Apoclypse rule North Africa that Magneto let him have.

I'm sorry, but dialog revolving around the central theme of:

"I tried to kill you because I loved you!'
"Yes, after I killed you I brought you back because I loved you!"

is beyond lame.

And what happed to Coipiel's art this issue? He's been doing a good job so far, but in this issue there are panels that I tried turning upside DOWN to see if I could figure them out. And what is the thing with the completely MISSING panel?
