As far as I know, they envisioned Fury to be more of a Colin Powell as quintessential black man of power + Dean Martin-like King of Cool. The visualization was something else that came up AFTER, and Samuel Jackson is a logical computation of both aspects of the character.
But that doesn't mean Jackson is a hard-lined interpretation of the character. Whoever plays the film version of Ultimate Fury, would depend entirely on how he's supposed to function within the film... how the film ABSTRACTS the comic character into its storytelling.
Giant-Man ---- Matt Damon - looks like a wife beater
Wasp --- Lucy Liu - I think she look's like wasp and a pretty good actress she could pull it off
Hulk/Bruce Banner ---- Bruce = Johnny Depp , Hulk = cgi - If he played him serious and a bit twisted like his role in Secret Window could work very well. May not look much like bruce but his acting in Secret Window is how bruce acts so it would be great.
Iron Man --- Karl Urban - looks like Tony stark
Captain America --- Jason Lewis - well looks like captain america and is a pretty good actor
Thor --- Paul Levesque (HHH) - looks like thor to me
General Nick Fury ---- Laurence Fishburne - Bald and eye patch would work very well.
no I never said anything about that. I said use who like except what rules say. It was others who argued it but like someone said in another thread the guy who opens the rules makes the so its any one except no o actors who have previously played any of the roles.
besides I actually forgot who would play her she's just the only Asian actress I could think of
It's not bad as people make out and kingpin was played great its like reading comics you imagine certain voices ect... that's how I imagined kingpin in mannerisms.
or if you still want to pretend how is this for a time its been done. batman movies with two face as in one film he was black next one white so there for I know one of those is wrong.
