LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN 2010

Harry Potter - An experienced auror now in his thirties

James Bond/007 - The modern version from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace

The Doctor - The Tenth Doctor, complete with TARDIS as transport through time and space

This is my modern British team which is a work in progress. I want some more members but I can't think of anyone suitable that is as known as those three. I think it would be fun to see them encountering various villains - Daleks, The Master, QUANTUM, Death Eaters etc. There is also an alternate team from the 1960s - made up of Number Six (The Prisoner), John Steed and Emma Peel (The Avengers), The Doctor (either First or Second, depending on the exact year) and James Bond (the first - maybe Bond is a codename passed on to agents just like 007). Maybe the two British teams meet as a result of a timestorm or something. I don't know.

I've also got an American team set in the 80s using basically every movie from that decade. I need to type it up but I'm lazy. I know there there will be the one post apocalyptic future they are trying to prevent - a combination of Blade Runner, Escape From New York and Terminator. Imagine a team made up of Indiana Jones, Marty McFly, Peter Venkman and Sarah Connor fighting off Predators.

I had an idea, but the story would crescendo in an Iron Fist/Ghost Rider battle (Kwan Jun Fan vs. Jack the Ripper as a GR). But it would step on the toes of another story I've had kicking around. Wich is another Ghost Rider/Iron Fist battle (Wu Ao Shi Vs. Blackbeard as a GR). and since I'm more proud of my ideas surrounding Black Beard as a rider than Ripper I'm saving it.

It involves Blackbeards ship being made of charcoal with sails of flame that skims across the sea leaving a cloud of Chlorine Gas in it's wake.

don't know why all my Ghost Rider ideas involve turning infamous historical figures into Riders, just seems like a neat idea

The League of Atomic Gentlemen​

The Premise: The year is 1955 and the United States is enthralled with Cold War histeria. In order to take advantage of this, Ernst Blofeld attempts to turn America on its back by stealing the legendary artifacts located in Area 51. Sending his SPECTRE operatives to the base in Roswell, the terrorists pass up the legendary Arc of the Covenant for an alien spacecraft long thought dead and a superevolved form of the smallpox virus. To counteract this the United States government assembles a group of heroes in order to prevent the destruction of their country.

The Gentlemen:
Dr. Henry 'Indiana' Jones

Recruited to lead a clandestine group of adventurers in retreiving the artifacts stolen from them, Indiana has regained the vigor of his youth by his contact with the Holy Grail and is still in his prime. Taking charge of this group he is the best man capable of finding the secrets that SPECTRE is hiding.

James Bond

Sent over from MI6, 007 has had conflict with one of the SPECTRE agents known as Dr. No. The only Briton in the group, Bond has trouble with his American teammates.

Hawkeye Pierce

Due to his medical expertise in the field, Hawkeye Pierce is brought in to treat the experimental smallpox virus that SPECTRE has released.

Danny Ocean

Offered amnesty for past crimes, Danny Ocean is brought into the League to steal whatever SPECTRE is hiding.

The Rocketeer

An engineer operating since the thirties, he now acts as the League's resident super soldier.

Doctor Strangelove

A former Nazi who now acts as an analyst for the United States government, Strangelove acts in a support role when finding out SPECTRE's plans.

Race Bannon

A young adventurer with knowledge of terrorist organizations, Bannon has the skills needed to take on SPECTRE.

The Iron Giant

The United State's secret weapon against SPECTRE, the Iron Giant is an alien weapon brought to Earth.

The Winter Soldier

On loan from the Russians in order to combat the League's fighters.
Godzilla

Created by Dr. No who has a climactic battle with the Iron Giant at the end of the League's mission.
