(Defunct thread)

I'm very curious how they will or if they will fill in the blanks for the Court of Owls inconsistencies(?) as the season goes.

I feel like maybe the characters are still learning as much as we the audience are, and more backstory will be given to us that lines up more with what Gotham established.
One of those "we'll see" deals here in terms of continuity. Joe Chill claiming he never killed the Waynes doesn't make much sense unless the person who did was covering their face. Bruce studying his first case, the investigation of his parents murder, is taken from Gotham. Also, the Court of Owls being behind the Wayne murder is from Gotham too. We'll likely learn more about the Court as time goes on and either it lines up with or contradicts what we know from Gotham.

Exactly my point. Wait and see.

So far it's definitely lining up more with 2015 rather than 2023, since every episode thus far has been on a school day for the main characters.

January 21st and 22nd in 2023 are on a WEEKEND. So 100% not in 2023.

I'm sure it's because they aren't looking at the series as a continuation of Gotham and they're not looking to make sure they match up with it. Sure it's using certain elements like the skyline (wouldn't be surprised if it had more to do with laziness) but at the same time it's acting like its own thing. It's much easier for me if they're different worlds. Especially when we don't have confirmation it's meant to be the exact same world.

I politely disagree with your sentiment.

I'm going to wait this one out.

Just read the Earth-Prime #2 comic and was curious how the September and October placements from the Bizarro World newspapers confirm the S2 placements of Superman & Lois. I'm getting ready to rewatch S2 to catch up on S3 and I'm wondering where the specific June and October dates came for the end of S1 and the beginning of S2. I still personally feel like the season starting in either August or September makes the most sense with the kids starting school and Sarah returning from what appears to be summer camp (meaning S1 would end in May or June).

Edit: I'm now 2 episodes into S2 and noticed some things. Tal-Rho asks Clark "what has he been up to this summer". The Smallville High Academic Calendar runs from September to August, confirming their school year most likely starts in September.

Thanks. I'll adjust.

There's a date of "03/06" on the signature granting a recent(?) release of a prisoner in the new episode airing right now.

Or was it an older file? March 6 seems kind a little ways ahead but I guess I were to bump up the final few episodes of Season 2 a month, it would give time for (spoiler) to recover. (I don't wanna spoil because you're still catching up @Rman )

I'm up to episode 7 of Season 2 right now and I'll let you know where I end up. So far, I've just matched days of the weeks you have and moved them back a month. A few changes I've made is putting 2x01 on Friday rather than Tuesday since they mention in 2x02 it's been a few days since the earthquakes started and that also has to be a school day for Natalie (the boys would most likely start on the following Monday offscreen). I also moved 2x05 to Sunday rather than Saturday to account for there being school the following day in 2x06. There isn't anything in the actual episode that says it has to be the day after 2x04. There may be a reference I missed to Sarah's party falling on Saturday, but like I said they confirm 2x06 is the day after and a school day.

Right now I'm looking at:
2x01- September 10th 2021.
2x02- September 15th 2021.
2x03- September 16th 2021.
2x04- September 16th-17th 2021.
2x05- September 19th 2021.
2x06- September 19th-21st 2021.
2x07- September 21st 2021.

2x07- September 21st 2021.
I also just now noticed what appears to be an April 2022 calendar on John Henry Iron's wall in tonight's episode...

I pushed everything after 2x04 up a week. 2x05 doesn't give any specifics on how much time has passed since 2x04 and in 2x07, Jordan mentions he was on XK for a couple of weeks (he took it for the first time in 2x04). I really didn't see anywhere else to squeeze this time jump.

So, now:
2x05- September 26th
2x06- September 26th-28th
2x07- September 28th

Edit: When Lana looks at the paper in 2x07, it shows the mayor's discussion is being held "Tuesday Evening". This fits with the 28th.
