That finale depressed the shit outta me.
this doesn't make sense. if we want to stick with August for TSS (which is likely) it makes more sense to imagine that Peacemaker stayed in the hospital for 2 years. Gunn had said that CC was set right after Peacemaker and above all Economos is still hurt. For the leg to fix itself it takes a maximum of 2 months, not 1 yearCurrent DCU Timeline:
The Suicide Squad - August 2021 (DCU Version)
Peacemaker S1 - January 2022 (DCU Version)
Creature Commandos S1 - September 2023
I wanted to keep Creature Commandos in 2022 and it caused a shitstorm. Thus, that's why I was forced to move it.this doesn't make sense. if we want to stick with August for TSS (which is likely) it makes more sense to imagine that Peacemaker stayed in the hospital for 2 years. That isn't actually related to his comment, because there'd still be over a year for Economos to recover and yet he hasn't.I wanted to keep Creature Commandos in 2022 and it caused a shitstorm. Thus, that's why I was forced to move it.
Is it possible he got another injury in the same area? That isn't actually related to his comment, because there'd still be over a year for Economos to recover and yet he hasn't.
Economos says exactly why he is hurt. he referred directly to the events of peacemaker. James Gunn also said it was set shortly afterIs it possible he got another injury in the same area?
Despite the ambiguous name, this Earth is not the Post-Flashpoint iteration of the original Post-Crisis Earth-1: it's actually a whole different reality, similar to both Earth-1 and Earth-97, where Barry journeyed into after undoing the Flashpoint. Due to the many similarities between the two realities, Barry began living into this world, believing it to be an alternate version of his Earth caused by his time travels.
Not the most reliable source though right? How do they know this? It's not like the film makes this clear. Seems like speculation. Also, both the DC and DCEU wikis seem to think that the Post-Flashpoint timeline is an alternate earth and not actually the DCEU. In other words, they think that Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Blue Beetle are part of the DCEU and Barry just disappeared forever after a conversation with Bruce Wayne. I don't know if that's better or worse honestly. They also have a page for the Post-Flashpoint Blue Beetle that was referenced in Midnight Circus.DC Extended Universe: Post-Flashpoint
This universe is the reality of the Multiverse where The Flash of Earth-1 came to live after running back back in time to prevent his past self from saving his mother and returning to what he believed to be his native universe. I know, I'm not using it as a source. I'm just mentioning an opinion that some have. It's absolutely speculation. Not the most reliable source though right? How do they know this? It's not like the film makes this clear. Seems like speculation.
It's not the Post-Flashpoint Blue Beetle, it's the Midnight Circus Blue Beetle. Those are different universesThey also have a page for the Post-Flashpoint Blue Beetle that was referenced in Midnight Circus.
Wrong. It's not the Post-Flashpoint Blue Beetle, it's the Midnight Circus Blue Beetle. Those are different universes
My current theory is torn between two similar ideas:I haven't actually seen all of Escape the Midnight Circus yet. Is it possible that after the second Flashpoint timeline, we get the DCU? I think the main problem would be that the DCU Flash is Wally West and not Barry.
