I'm still wondering where Supergirl comes from in The Flash. I assumed she'd be from the DCEU but then the teaser came out and she was in Keaton's universe.

I get the impression that Barry's attempt to save his mother actually had him end up in an alternate reality where she's alive. That's the Burtonverse. He finds his alternate universe counterpart and I'm assuming he's recently got his powers too. Maybe this is when he finds Keaton, and then Keaton doesn't want anything to do with it, or maybe he just gives him some info or something. Then he meets Supergirl, they bring her to Wayne Manor, she recovers and they finally manage to recruit Batman.

If Supergirl is from the DCEU, then how does she end up in the Burtonverse? And if she isn't, does that mean she's from the Burtonverse? I've heard theories (only theories) that she's the daughter of Christopher Reeve's Superman, and I can see them wanting to try and pair Burton and Donner franchises together (or maybe I'm biased and want a Batman '89/Superman '78 crossover comic), but then why does she have Cavills logo? That would make no sense, unless they want us to believe she created her own logo that happens to look EXACTLY like Cavills which is silly... I could see WB trying to do that, though. In that case, she obviously isn't Kara.

In the film, she seems to be kept in some sort of facility with red lights (red sun lights?), which suggests she's kind of like Flashpoint Superman. Does that mean that the Burtonverse, which for some reason has a Snyder-stylized House of El symbol, had Kara get sent to Earth but then the government apprehended her as a child?

Or is Barry going to constantly hop between universes, taking a small team of heroes with him? That seems a little directionless, to be honest.

I think we should just put The Suicide Squad in August 2021 and Peacemaker in January 2022. Feels like they're taking a real world approach to the passing of time.

To be fair, she recognises the alternate Diana Prince as Wonder Woman, so her universe does seem to be the DCEU.

Ok, but it's from the actual comic. I've read it myself, and it's quite clearly in DCEU continuity. :p

It has Gal Godot's Wonder Woman, bro. Doesn't matter if it's ridiculous. I mean, Peacemaker confirmed Bat-Mite is canon. It's completely plausible that Wonder Woman teamed up with a multiverse version of herself thst just so happened to look like a tennis player.

General canon rules: officially made material is canon until contradicted.

There's no reason to think the comic isn't canon, there are reasons to think it is canon, therefore logical conclusion is that it is canon.

I'm still hoping that Keaton Batman is just a visitor just to fill time until they decide to bring in, I dunno, an actor who looks like an older Robert Pattinson or whatever to be the New Earth-1 Batman.

Yes, I'd much rather Pattinson be the new DCEU Batman. In the 90s. With smart phones. Because Earth-89 doesn't mesh well with the DCEU IMO.
